Ryan raised the club and brought it down on her, hard.  He waited for her to start screaming, but nothing came.  He slapped the wretched, weak girl until she rolled over to look at him.  She just glared at him with blank eyes.  The look seemed familiar to him, but he couldn't place it.  He decided to ignore it.  He raised the club, prepared to beat her until he got a reaction.  He let it drop unto her stomach, expecting at least a grunt.  What he did not expect was for her to grab it and swing herself up with his downward momentum, knocking him to the ground.  He felt a foot in his kidneys.  He winced.  Where had this come from?  All of Chad's memories of her were of a sweet, shy, slightly pathetic girl, who had frequent nausea attacks.  Where had this freaky strong, ninja girl come from?  Ryan gasped, not just because she had dug her foot into his kidneys.  He recognized that look now.  It was the look he saw every time he, not Chad, looked in a mirror.  It was the look of a different personality.
