Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, they did. Pain exploded in Alyssa's head. She started to scream. Tears streamed down her face; it felt as if her blood was boiling.
Chad ran to her, trying to soothe her. Something warm was running down her face. Someone was yelling. Alyssa wanted to die.
Footsteps approached, and the pain heightened. Someone crouched beside Alyssa, and placed a hand on her head. Instantly, the pain dimmed. Alyssa smiled with relief, and then someone began screaming anew.
