Alyssa couldn't move. She was terrified. All she knew was that she couldn't take the beatings anymore. And that's when the burning started. It started small, and then it grew into a ferocious flame, a wildfire. And when it had done its work, Alyssa was no more.
Jane was ready for the strike before it even came. She grinned. Finally, a challenge. No more weak little Alyssa, this was Jane's time. She refused to react when the hit came, because she knew that's what he wanted. She did, however, roll over when he wanted, so that she could give him a piece of her mind. She grabbed the club before it even touched her and forced him to the ground. She jabbed her filthy shoes into his kidneys. She grinned. This was fun! Jane wanted to figure out a way to get rid of Alyssa forever; she liked this body too much. She wanted to run, to scream, to prove that she wasn't just a festering figment of Alyssa's imagination used to counteract her weaknesses, that she was real. She picked up Chad's club and grinned. This was going to be fun.
