I woke up, hearing the rumbling of wheels against stone and I shot up from my bed.

Christy's home.

"Good Morning, Juli-- Whoa! Be careful!"
"I'm sorry!"
I was running past the corridors of my home, and my feet were slapping against the bitterly cold and shining marble tiles. I guess I should've at least put on socks. But the sound of the main entrance door creaking open and I already had sight of the red, orange hair of Christy's.
"Juliet? You're up early." I slid my way 'smoothly', and by smoothly I mean almost falling down the stairs and slipping on how sparkling clean the tiles were.
"Christy! So what happened? Did you get my sister? Is she my sister? Can-"
She nonchalantly shuts me up with her hand on my mouth.
Classic Christy. Always knows how to deal with the nonsense I fed her.
Hah, I guess i'm glad I have her instead of some grumpy, old guy that'd always be on my back. Yeah, I'm lucky.
"I'll tell you everything. But I need a cup of coffee first."
I examin her face for a bit, dark circles circling the underside of her eyelids and her hair which was always shining and neatly placed off her shoulders was now slightly messy. But she smiled tiredly.

"So, the town was kinda old, so there wasn't any hotels or anything. I met with your sister and she offered that'd I'd sleep since it was kind of late when I arrived," Christy takes a swallow sip from her mug, "but she explained that there wasn't any extra rooms or anything so i'd sleep on the floor." She glances over at me, "And they have a pet dog that's absolutely restless with new people."
I can feel my eyes light up like fireworks, "She has a dog! Wow! I've always thought about owning a dog."
It's true. I have an undying passion for canines. Especially puppies, because honestly, who doesn't?
She hums and nods before a soft silence sets in.
"So..." I start to speak, "What'd she say? What'd you find out?"
"Well, she is your sister." She says quietly, with a enormous grin plastered on her lips. "Really!?"
"Yep. You guys look so much alike, too. Honestly, when she opened the door I knew she was your sister."
I felt like jumping, and dancing happily. I can't believe. My sister. My own sister? But I feel myself stopping quickly and looking around the house.
"Wait, isn't she suppose to be here then?" Christy stands up now, walking toward me, placing her mug down on the coffee table in the process. "She says she's busy today, so she'll be heading here in two days. Oh, I guess that means you'll be able to continue your classes."

This time, I did dance and jumped happily.
