Davie had texted me, sending a vibration in the pocket of my pants.

I pull my phone out and turn it on, the bright notification sitting on the screen.

"jules. where u at?"

My fingers tap against the screen for a reply

still in the class. i'll be out in a minute. Where do u wanna meet?

Before he replies, the professor had stood up from the seat behind the desk to dismiss us. The majority of students, as well as Jax, fled the room with a hurry.

But before exiting, he gave me a glance,

i'll wait outside for you.

I nod.

I slip my books back into my bag and throw it over my shoulders as i weave past the desk and out the door. Jax had stood near the stairwell of the hall and I rushed toward him.

"I need a nap.." he mumbles before we start to walk down.

"Same."

Before we could start conversation, another vibration rang from my phone in my back pocket and I pulled it out at the speed of light.

"just meet me at the library ? ;) and bring a jacket."

the ";)" creeps me out and okay im heading there right now.

I shove my phone back into my pocket and look back up at Jax.

"Who was that?"

"Davie. Apparently, I won't be able to take a nap. I'm heading to the library, see you tonight."

"Okay, make sure Davie doesn't do anything stupid."

I laugh a bit before taking a turn, "That's almost impossible."

Before heading to the library, I make a short stop at my shared dorm and grab a heavy coat which hung on the back of my chair.

A swift movement, and I had it on as I exit the room once again.

I let my feet walk fast down the hall to the lowest floor of the school. The floor which had the library, the indoor pool, student lounge and kitchen and the main office.

I sighed as i pushed the door open into the softly lightly room, with bookcases neatly aligned in rows.

To the right, right near a study room, Davie stood against a wall, eyes trained on his phone.

I decided to carefully tiptoe my way toward his back, nearing him closer and closer until i stood only a foot away from him

"Davie !"

He jumped suddenly, letting out a short yell and turning around vigorously, almost hitting me

"W-WHAT!?"

The cliche old librarian hushes us with a cold stare and I try my hardest to keep in my laughter.

Davie apologizes swiftly before turning back around to face me, "J-Jules, that scared the hell out of me. Don't do that, i might die next time."

"I couldn't help myself," I said in between laughs, "so what did you wanna show me?"

That's when he smiles so brightly that it could blind me

"Follow me."

I follow Davie

We climb three sets of stairs before entering one classroom, which I recognized as my history room.

It was empty at this time. No classes, no teacher.

The lights were even shut off for the next hour until the professor comes back, stack of papers resting in his arms.

But that didn't matter it seemed to Davie. He swung the door open then motioned me to follow.

"Uh, Davie... I don't think we're-"

"I've done this a million times, trust me."

I didn't exactly know if I could, but I followed him anyways.

Apparently, there's a set of ladders behind a wall of the classroom, and Davie climbs up first. I watch slowly as he opens up something and all the sudden I was looking up at the skies.

He helps me up on the platform, hauling me with his strong grip.

"Look." He says before turning away from me.

I looked.

A beautiful painted view of the blue skies.

I didn't want to be like those cheesy old ladies, but it was breathtaking.

The soft and plush looking clouds floated slowly across the blue canvas, the sun shining as if it was summer. I'd realize about a second later that'd we'd been standing on the roof of the school.

Our school was on a hill, and on top of that, it was tall and had many floors. It made me dizzy as I looked down, a nauseous feeling spinning in my stomach and I feel my feet cringe.

"Don't look down." Davie mutters through his soft breaths in the cold air and I quickly nod.

Despite of the cold wind of the leftover winter weather biting at my skin, it was a view that you could never get bored of.

I glanced over, eyeing Davie.

He looked satisfied with my reaction.

"It's pretty, isn't it?" He looks at me with a soft grin.

"Yeah. Beautiful."

----

I pace quickly as I casually push past students in the crowded halls.

I was late for swim practice.

Letting my feet quickly step down the wide staircase, i start to open my bag and rummage through it.

"Jules ! You're late !" Davie says, already standing in the pool with his elbows resting on the sides and Jax kicking under the water.

"Sorry ! My last class held me up for a bit." I reply, already stepping into the locker room.

I start to take my suit out of the locker and shrug out of my hoodie.

But before I do anything else, there's a knock on the locker door, with a familiar "Miss Greenwood?"

I cock my head to the side, Miss Greenwood ?

I swing the heavy door open to reveal a man dressed in a red familiar uniform, golden buttons down the front and a stern look on his face.

"Charles?"

He nods carefully, "Yes, Your Highness."
