"How was the academy for you?"

We hugged tightly and then backed away with wide smiles. "It's great. I can't wait to tell you about the people i've met."

Christy was one of the servants that'd worked in my home for many years. We're practically sisters. She was the one i'd play with when my parents were overseas on political business and I was left alone. Christy was a few years older than me but she treated me as if we were equal, which I honestly didn't get a lot of. She's amazing and I trust her with my life.

"Well, your mother is waiting for you, so let's talk about it after we get you settled in."

"Alright."

She takes my bags and hauls it into the large foyer. The red of the carpet which had matched Christy's own uniform, cascaded down the large stairs which stood in front of the foyer.

"Your mother is in her room. I'll take your bags into your room."

"Thank you, Christy."

I was already a few steps up the steps when I look back to Christy, who was patiently waiting behind me.

"... How is mother's condition?" I reluctantly asked her, feeling a small pinch of anxiety twist in my stomach.

Her smile was reassuring, "She's getting better.."

Nodding, I continue to step up the stairs.

My mother's room was dim and I stepped in quietly, making sure not to alarm figure who sat in the large bed.

She was reading a hardcover blue book, not evening noticing as I approached her.

This was the Queen of Greenwood. Queen Greenwood, infact. She had hazelnut hair, eyes pale blue like my own. I thought she was beautiful.

And yes. I am the daughter of the Queen. The princess.

But my mother's been sick these past few months and it's even worse that she hadn't been recovering. The entire town thinks that she won't make it. But I believe in my mother.

"Hi, mother. How are you feeling?"

Her eyes shift to my direction, mouth curling and eyes curving.

"Juliet, your back!"

I take her into a deep embrace, burying my nose deep into her hair.

"How was the school ?"

"It's great. How are you?"

Her smile was gentle on her lips as we disentangle from the hug, "I'm fine, doc said. "

"That's good..."

"Did you meet any new people there?"

"Yes, I did. I meet a lot of new people"

"Oh. What's their names?"

There's a moment of hesitation as my mind comes across all the people i've met... And the first name which comes into my mind;

"Well, there's a guy named Davie."

She hums happily and nods, urging me to continue.

"And Jax his sister Amy... Then there's Nova, who's Davie's older sister. And Parker."

"Wow, so many names!" I smile in return to her chuckle.

The two of us talk until sunset and she soon drifted off to sleep. Making my way out of the room, I let her rest.

I aimlessly walked around the castle to find Christy.
