"Hi Riles," I said to my best friend Riley.

"Hi Peaches," Riley said to me. You may be wondering, why does Riley call me peaches? Well here's the story

One day in third grade, Riley and I went to went on a picnic with our families. We looked through each others picnic baskets because we love food. I look at her picnic basket and saw a jar that took up half of the basket. I took it out and saw that the jar was filled with peaches. I hugged the jar tightly.

"PEACHES!!" I said not realising how loud I was talking. 

"Wow! You really like peaches," Riley said.

"Peaches are the best fruit ever!" I said.

"You can keep the peaches but you have to share," Riley's mom Topanga said. 

"Okay," I said. My mom was talking to Riley's parents. Riley and I were talking about what colors our dresses would be if we were princesses. While we were talking, I was eating the peaches. 

"Hey!" Riley said. "You have to share the peaches."

"I'm not going to give you any peaches," I said.

"If you don't give me a peach, I will call you peaches for the rest of your life," Riley said trying to threaten me.

"Okay," I said still eating the peaches out of the jar. 

"Aren't you going to give me one?"  Riley asked.

"No," I said. "I don't care if you call me peaches for the rest of my life if it means that I get to eat this jar  of peaches." Riley pouted. I reached to the bottom of the jar, the top of the jar almost touching the top of my arm. I couldn't feel anything in the jar. Both Riley and I looked at the jar. There were no peaches left.

"Peaches!" Riley said. "You ate all the peaches." Riley pouted again. I know she's my best friend but I hate it when she pouts.

"Oh well," I said shrugging my shoulders.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed this cute little story of Rilaya as little kids. I wanted to take a break from writing romantic stories. I got this idea while writing Chapter 8 (coming soon) of my fanfic, "Are We Friends?...Or More"
