I was getting ready for the premiere of the movie "Girl Online". I wasn't in the movie but my boyfriend Lucas Friar was. He can sing, dance and act. He's also really hot. Every girl's dream. We've been dating since we were in ninth grade. 10 years later and here we are, still together. My hair and makeup team were helping get ready. I was wearing a teal sequined dress. I was reading Seventeen magazine while I was waiting for my hair and makeup. I came across a page that had a picture of Lucas and Bridgit (the girl who plays Penny in the movie.) The page was talking about how they would be such a cute couple. They talked about how Bridgit was prettier and more famous than his current girlfriend, me. I tear rolled down my cheek. This hurt more then seeing Lucas and Bridgit kiss for the movie. More tears started rolling down my cheek. My heart started beating faster. The walls started closing in on me.

"Riley, are you okay?" Tony, my hair guys asked.
"I'm fine," I said lying. "Can you play Beautiful Brunette?" Beautiful Brunette was the song that Lucas wrote about me. When I heard Lucas's voice, my anxiety was calming down. I thought about the day Lucas played this song for me. I smiled. I heard a knock at the door.

"Can I come in?" Lucas said. I told my makeup person to open the door. Lucas walked through the door. He was wearing a black suit. He looked so handsome. I got up out of my chair and gave him a hug and gave him a peck on the cheek. We stared at each other for a while. He had this huge smile on his face that melted my heart.

"What?" I asked him having a huge smile on my face.

"Nothing," he said. "You're just so beautiful." My smile turned upside down.

"Why would you say that?" I said. I sat down on the couch. Lucas sat down next to me. He put his hand on top of mine.

"What do you mean?" Lucas said confused.

"I'm not beautiful. You're only saying that because I'm your girlfriend," I said starting to cry. "I only look beautiful because I have my makeup and hair done and I'm wearing a nice dress." I started sobbing. Lucas pulled me into a hug.

"Riley I think you're beautiful with or without makeup," Lucas said. "You could have bed head hair and not shower for a week and I would think that your the most beautiful girl in the world. You're my beautiful brunette."

"I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU," I said sobbing uncontrollably. "I'M NOT RICH OR FAMOUS. I'M JUST A NORMAL GIRL WHO ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU" Lucas just stared at me in shock. He looked around the room. He saw the magazine on the vanity table.

"Tony, can you give me the magazine?" He asked calmly. Tony gave him the magazine and Lucas opened the page I was just reading. "Were you reading this?" I nodded.

"Riley, don't let what they say get to you," he said making me feel better. "You're way more beautiful than Bridgit. But you know what the difference is between you and Bridgit? You're the love of my life and she's some girl I have to pretend to be in love with. The only way I can play this role is to imagine Bridgit as you." I smiled and put my head an his shoulder. He kissed my head.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked. "We have somewhere to be."
