Chapter 14

I wake up to see my mom and dad standing a few feet away from me. I start to walk to them but I get stopped after I take one step towards them. I look behind me and I see that I'm tied up to a pole.

"What the.." I try getting my hands out of the rope but it was useless. The ropes were tied up tightly.

I look at my mom and dad that were now joined by two other people. "Um mom, dad or someone help me get out of these ropes?"

I wait for someone to come to help me but no one moves a muscle. "Please? Can one of you help me please?"

"They can't hear you Harmony" I look around the room to see who the familiar voice came from, but I found no one around except for my parents and the two other people.

"Who said that?" I keep looking around but I don't find anyone.

"I did" I turn to my left and I see who the person is. You again, I thought. "Amd you can say everything you want to them but they won't hear you"

"Why can't they hear me? What did you do to them?" I say, trying to get my hands free.

"I just put them under a spell so they only listen to me and right now they are following what I said. To not talk to you" The familiar man said. "You can try to get out of those ropes as much as you want. Just letting you know that it's not going to happen"

"What do you want from me?" I say as I stop trying to get free. He's right I won't be able to get out these ropes by myself. It's useless.

"I want you to come to my side and turn on your parents and the other agents"

"Why would I wanna do that?" I say.

"Because they have lied to you Harmony. They have been lying to you your whole life"

"My parents have bever lied to me and I don't even know who those people-" I stop talking as soon as I see who the two other people are. "Adam, Glitch, what are you guys doing here?"

"I told you that they can't hear you" The man says. "Your parents have lied to you. You're adopted Harmony. You're not their real daughter. They just adapted you because they felt bad that you were all alone"

"That's not true" I say.

"If it's not true, then tell me Harmony. Tell me why you don't look like your 'parents'?" The man says. He does have a point though. I don't look anything like my parents. Could I really be adopted? No I can't be. Could I?

"I don't know. I just know that I'm not adopted" I say, trying to hold back tears. He can't be right. He's just trying to get a reaction from me.

"What makes you think that?"

"I don't know ok!!!!" I say looking at the man, holding back tears. "I don't know what you want from me but whatever it is, I don't have it. Please... just let me go!!" I couldn't hold it anymore. I just started crying and sobbing. "I just wanna go home!!!"

I keep crying until I start to feel really hot and start to sweat. I stop crying and look at my parents and at Glitch and Adam. They look totally normal. What is going on? I thought.
