Chapter 38

"I believe you spoke too soon Harmony. I have managed to capture Rasa and Lima and all the other pathetic agents here at DCI. I guess I will be able to get my revenge and go on with my plan." Tan says walking towards the captured agents. As soon as his back turns away from me, I sit back on my legs and start to play around with the rope tied around my ankles. I need to get out of here. I need to do something.

"It has been a while Rasa and Lima. It's good to see you two again. How are you both doing?"

"You're not going to get away with this Tan," Lima responds, trying to get out of the robots' grip.

"Oh Lima. I already have." He gives them an evil chuckle before continuing. "I'm giving you both one last chance since all the other times you both foolishly declined my offer. Give me full access to DCI and I'll let Sarah and Matthew's precious little daughter go."

"We will never give you access to DCI Tan! Don't you think we know what you are going to do with this place? You can't change the past Tan. You can't bring her back!" Rasa says moving around to get loose, only to get Tan's robots closer to him.

"Yes I can!" Tan raises his voice which causes me jump a little out of shock. I finally managed to get the ropes off of my ankles. I look around the room for a way to get out here quickly. I need to find a phone. Maybe I can contact the police to come help. I need to do something. "I can bring her back! I am not afraid to experiment and to find a solution unlike the two of you. I will find a way to bring people back from the past. But I wouldn't have to do any of this if it weren't for you Rasa!"

"I didn't do anything! Lima didn't do anything nor did Sarah or Matthew. We were all young, drunk, and stupid that night. None us knew what we were doing and neither did she!" Rasa replies raising his voice.

"You guys could've stopped her! All of you promised me that you were going to protect her! Now she's dead because of all of you. You guys killed the only woman that I have ever loved and now you both are going to pay for that, just like Sarah and Matthew had to pay." Tan says his voice becoming bitter as each word came out of his mouth.

I managed to quickly move towards one of the exists without anyone seeing me -- well with the help of some of the agents to get Adam distracted and away from me. I quietly get up and grab a hold of the door handle right when Tan turns around to look for me. "Where is Harmony? You stupid robots! And you Adam had one job and that was to make sure she didn't escape!"

I silently laugh to myself and turn the door knob. I turn around to start running but only to see someone standing in the doorway.

"G-glitch," I say and I feel my body get filled with emotions. My eyes start to get watery and I can't help but smile and jump to him. I wrap my arms around his neck and cry into his shoulder. I don't even care if anyone sees or hears me. I wanted to see him again so badly and now my wish has finally come true. The best part of it all is that I know that we can get through this now. I know that Glitch is going to save me. He's going to save all of us because we are stronger together. "I'm so happy you're ok!"

I feel him grab my wrists and move my arms away from his neck. As soon as he puts my hands back to my sides, he starts to walk towards me, causing me to start walking backwards. He's still holding on to my wrists and his blank stare hasn't changed since we saw each other. "Um Glitch? What are you doing?" His grip on my arms only got stronger and I couldn't help but to shriek in pain at my already injured wrists from just trying to get those ropes off me. He doesn't respond and just keeps walking to where I was originally. He's not listening and it's starting to scare me. I think he noticed that I was getting scared cause I felt his grip on my wrists loosen for a bit until I spoke again but a little stricter. "Glitch, I know you can hear me. What are you doing?"
