Chapter 26

Glitch's POV

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I kissed her. I freaking kissed her. I mean it was an accident and it was just a quick kiss but it was still a kiss.

"Um... G-glitch...?"

"Y-yea?"

"C-can you get off me? You're heavy"

"Yea s-sorry" I said. I quickly stood up and helped Harmony get up as well.

"T-thanks" She said and got some of the sand of her.

"Dude what the heck?" I heard Connor say and I turned to look at him.

"Glitch you were supposed to get Harmony in front of the balcony so she gets covered in paint. Not you" Emily said.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Like I said earlier. It's not nice to try to prank people. Especially if they're new and they haven't done anything to you"

"Have you forgotten that she has been mean to you since she got here? She deserves to get pranked so she knows how it feels" Little T said.

"No she doesn't. It's not even her fault that she's been mean to me. I was the one that was mean to her first. She was just getting back at me for being mean to her. All she has done was try to be nice to me and I messed it up. I'm the one that's been a jerk. Not her"

"So in other words, the only reason you have been mean to my girlfriend is because you're a jerk and a knucklehead that can't respect a girl's feelings?"

Oh no... I turn around to see Adam.

"Adam don't start" I heard Harmony say, sounding annoyed.

"Am I right or am I right?" Adam says, obviously ignoring her.

"N-no..." I said, trying to sound brave but it's not working.

"What did you say?"

"I said no!"

"Look who's the jerk now? Raising your voice just because you know I'm right" Adam said.

"What? No! I'm raising my voice because I'm tired of your stupid attitude Adam. You always try to turn things around so you can make me look bad and make you feel more important and special about yourself when really you're not. You're just a selfish jerk who is afraid of losing his own girlfriend who is probably the only one that can actually stand your crap"

"And you're just a lonely boy who has no family"

"I do have a family..." I said, getting prepared for what he's going to say next.

"Sure you do Claus. Didn't your parents abandoned you because you are no other than a disappointment to them. I mean your mom even said it. You are just a mistake in this world"

Ouch... I start feeling my eyes tear up. It's not true but I haven't seen my parents in 6 years and it's starting to feel true.

"Adam!!!" Harmony said.

"Since when did you start caring so much about him?" Adam said and looked at her.

"I've always cared about him. Even if we don't get along that well I still care about him" Harmony said.

"Why? He's been a jerk to you. He even admitted it"

"So? I've been a jerk to him too you know" She says and comes towards me, "and I feel sorry for being mean to him"

"I'm sorry too" I say and look at her. That's when she hugs me. I was a little surprised at first but I hugged her back after I realized it wasn't a dream.

"Glitch is in love with you" I hear Adam say. Oh no...

Harmony pulled away from the hug and looked at him, "What?"

"You heard me. Glitch is in love with you. I heard him talk to Mo the other day about how he wants to be your boyfriend and many other things" Adam said.

"Glitch you love me?" Harmony said and turned to look at me. Her eyes had mix of sadness, shock, and a little bit of love but I doubt that it's for me. "Do you?"

I start shaking my head no and I feel my face turn red from embarrassment. He told her... he actually told her...

I started to back away from Harmony and Adam. Mainly because I just wanted to get away and I did not want to hear Harmony reject me.

"No Glitch it's okay"

Harmony then started to take a step towards me and that's when I started running. Every step leading me farther and farther away from the beach house and away from Harmony's voice yelling my name.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I am so happy and thankful for everyone that has been there for me and has supported me. I am not going to say names because I am more than likely going to forget some one but you know who you are.
