A Plan

Bobby walked over and patted Dean on the shoulder.  "I'm glad that's resolved.  Now we can finally get to work."

Sam laughed slightly.  "Uh...Meara...can you dial it down a bit?  I think you've made your point."

I smiled over at him.  "Sure Sam."

Just as I was starting to change back into a human form, Dean held up his finger in a 'wait' motion.  "I agree with Bobby.  This suits you better.  Why don't you stay like this?"

I laughed.  "Because it's freaking Sam out."

Dean smiled over at Sam...more specifically on the weird look on his face.  "Yeah maybe it's better that you change back."

So I tried to build a dam in my mind to keep the power at bay.  Then I changed back to my human form, making me less powerful.

Dean walked over to Bobby's desk and I followed him.  I heard footsteps behind me, and glanced over my shoulder to see Sam following me.

Dean sat down on the edge of Bobby's desk and Sam leaned against it.  I opted to lean against the wall, off to the side.

Bobby sat down at his desk.  "Well...what are we gonna do?"

Sam looked at Bobby in shock.  "Wait...you don't have a plan?"

Bobby shook his head.  "Nothing kills these suckers.  Borax hurts 'em but it won't kill 'em."

Dean sighed.  "And decapitation works if the head is kept away from the body."

Bobby sighed and looked up at the ceiling.  "But if they're too close, they'll fuse back together eventually."

Sam shrugged.  "Well...what else have we got?"

Bobby shook his head.  "We've got squat."

Dean got up and started pacing the floor.  "Then how do we even begin to go after these suckers?"

I took a good look at them.  They were all stressed and really wanted to kill the others.  "Use your secret weapon."

All three of them looked at me.  Bobby shook his head again.  "No."

Sam sighed.  "She's right, Bobby.  She's our best shot."

Dean nodded.  "I agree with Sam on this one...but if Bobby says no, then we don't use her."

I sighed and walked over to Bobby.  "I don't mean kill him...at least not yet.  Let me talk to him, get close to him, and find out just how deep his operation goes."

Bobby stared at me.  It felt like he was staring deep into my soul.  "You won't take him out?"

I shook my head.  "I won't take him out."

Sam nodded.  "That's a good plan for now...but eventually we'll have to kill him."

Dean shrugged.  "Yeah...but that plan gives us time to find another way to do that."

Bobby looked from Sam to Dean...then to me.  "Fine...but you are not killing him.  Understood?"

I nodded.  "Understood."

Dean and Sam nodded.  We had finally come up with a plan.  It wasn't fully thought out yet...but it was a start.  It was the beginning of a long, winding dirt road filled with ruts.  I had no doubt in my mind that it would be complicated.  But for now, we were all happy with it.
