Bonding

I walked back through the woods to Bobby's house.  I was thinking about Bobby, Sam, and Dean.  I didn't want to see them get hurt.  To avoid that, I was considering going after Dick Roman alone.  Bobby would hate me for it...but at least he would be around to hate me.

When I made it back to the house, I paused outside.  I had excellent hearing but I didn't need it since the yelling was so loud.  I quietly crept up to the window and watched the scene unfold.

Dean was yelling.  "We can't trust her Bobby!  We need to do this without her!"

Bobby was still calm, for the moment at least.  "Dean...she is our best shot."

Dean punched something I couldn't see, probably the wall.  "No!  I won't put my life in the hands of a monster."

Sam suddenly joined in the conversation.  "You trusted Benny, Dean."

Dean whipped around to face Sam.  "That was different.  He save my life."

At that point I quit listening.  I decided to break up the yelling.  I walked into the house and everything became deadly silent.

Dean glared at me.  "What are you doing here?"

I shrugged.  "Technically, I live here."

Dean snorted.  "Not for long...if I had my way."

I smiled, mostly to irritate him.  "Good thing you don't have your way.  You'd ruin your best shot at getting at Dick Roman."

Bobby whipped around to face me.  "You're not going to take him out."

I sighed.  "No...but I can get close to him.  He was my husband's second in command."

Dean laughed bitterly.  "And what makes you think that he'll even listen to you?"

I smirked at him.  "I'm still his Queen.  We leviathans respect authority, for the most part."

Sam had a sudden realization as he looked at me.  "Cut off the head and the body shall die, right?  Well if she's alive, then Dick Roman isn't the head.  It's her."

Dean pulled out his gun.  "Good enough for me."

I sighed.  "Dean, you already know that won't work."

Dean shrugged.  "It won't kill you...but it'll make me feel better."

I squinted my eyes at him.  "Sam, in a perfect world, you would be right.  But the others don't know that I'm still alive.  So Dick Roman is still the head.  The others follow him now."

Sam sat down on the couch in defeat.  Cas walked over and stood in front of me.  "You have a glow now."

I nodded.  "Yeah.  I spent some time in a little crick.  It made me stronger."

Cas nodded.  "To prepare for the upcoming fight."

I winked at him.  "Right on, Cas."

Dean walked over and pushed Cas away from me.  "Stay away from her Cas, she's poison."

I smirked at Dean again.  "You don't know my full range of abilities."

Dean sneered back at me.  "I don't need to.  You'll be dead soon enough."

I laughed then got up in his face.  "Actually Dean, Death and I are very good friends."

Dean finally snapped again and shoved me back against the wall.  He pointed his gun right at the center of my forehead.  "I've had just about enough of you."

I laughed.  "You really think you can ever hope to hurt me?"

Dean remained stoic.  "I'll go down trying."

I rolled my eyes and then used my powers to fling Dean up against the far wall.  With a flick of my fingers, the gun flew from his hand.  The others stared at me in shock as I let the power course through my body.

It was time to show them my true form.  They needed to see it.  I closed my eyes as I let the power running through my veins turn my skin blue, grow my hair longer and turn it white, and I felt it turn my eyes a blue brighter than Cas's eyes.  Then I felt it change my jeans into a long, green skirt and my T-shirt into a strapless, shirt that came to just above my belly button.

When I opened my eyes, everyone's jaw had dropped, including Dean's.  Whatever they had expected me to look like, I exceeded expectations.

Dean managed to be the first one to break the silence.  "Your eyes...they're bright blue."

I smiled a toothy grin, exposing my slightly pointed teeth.  "The same color as the lagoon where I lived."

Bobby came to stand in front of me.  "It's a shame you have to walk around looking like a human.  This suits you better."

Meg laughed.  "It's also her true form, so she is at her strongest right now."

I saw Dean's eyes widen.  It was time for me to show him what I could really do.  I let him go from the wall as I made a ball of water in my hand.  Then I blew on it, freezing it, and turning it into a snowglobe.  Then I walked over and handed it to Dean.

When the globe cleared of the fog from my breath, Dean looked inside.  He started to tear up when he saw the figures of everyone he had lost: his mother, Jo, Ellen, his father, Sam and Cas- because they both had died a few times and been brought back, and finally Dean himself.  Dean had died a few times too...but that wasn't why I included him in there.

I included him in there as my way of telling him that he had lost himself.  He had lost his values and his ethics.  He had forgotten what he stood for and what was really important to him.

I put my hand on his shoulder.  Dean looked at me as he let the tears fall.  "Why?"

I looked into his eyes.  "Over the years of being so heartless to everyone other than Sam and Bobby, you lost what you started out with: faith.  You need to have faith Dean.  But I can understand why you would want to be with them.  Just remember that there are still people here that need you."

Dean immediately glanced to Sam, then Bobby, and finally Cas.  I nodded and looked fiercely into his beautiful green eyes.  "And I promise that as long as I'm alive, I will make sure that you get home to them.  Because they," I motioned around the room, "They are worth dying for...and so are you, Dean."

Dean looked at my face and nodded.  Then he wrapped his arms around me in a hug...and I hugged him back.  I had finally proven to him that I was trustworthy.

Dean pulled back and looked at my face.  "I'm sorry...for not trusting you before."

I smiled.  "Apology accepted.  Can we be friends now?"

Dean smiled back at me.  "Yeah, yeah I think so."

I held my hand up for a high-five.  Dean rolled his eyes at me but finally gave me a high-five.  Bobby and Sam were smiling because they knew that now, we were a team.  And we were going to take down Dick Roman...together.

I'm sooo sorry that I haven't updated in like a month.  I've just gotten pretty busy lately between rehearsal for my school's musical and Solofest that's coming up this week.  I really appreciate your patience with me.  And I hoped you enjoyed it.
