A Discovery

As I lived in the woods, in my little meadow, I discovered things about myself...don't worry Dean, not anything emotional.

I discovered that when I was tired and stepped into the spring water, it reenergized me.  It was like plugging your dying phone into the wall, an immediate charge.

I would go into the spring often and just let the water wash away everything...the dirt, the loneliness, every thought.  The water simply carried it away and I let it go.

Soon after I discovered the energizing powers of the spring, strange things started happening to me.  Sometimes I would reach for things and they would come.  Yes, Sam, I'm telekinetic...and a few more things.

My powers surprised me but alone in the wilderness, I learned how to harness them.

As other creatures started popping up, sometimes literally, like demons, I learned new powers.  I learned how to send demons back to Hell using my telekinetic powers.  I also discovered that I was immune to their powers as well.  They would try to fling me into trees but it was useless.  I wouldn't go flying like they wanted me to.

One day, I was trying to light a fire with a few sticks.  It wasn't working and I was getting very frustrated.  Suddenly, I was holding a ball of fire in my hand.  I don't know how I did it but somehow I did.  It was powers like these that helped me to thrive in the wilderness.

I will not bore you with the rest of my powers, which are numerous in nature and not all pleasant.  As I'm writing this, I realize that these powers are somewhat similar to the powers an angel has.  But that wouldn't make sense since I'm a leviathan.  I'm sure that however I got them, God gave them to me.

I was alone for many, many years.  When God made the humans, I stayed alone.  I had gotten so used to being alone that as Cas would say, "My people skills were rusty."

I lived my life alone.  I shut the world out.  I shut out the crowning achievements of the humans, the angel fights, the wars...everything.  I shut it all out...until I couldn't ignore them anymore.

I couldn't ignore the leviathans that had escaped from their locked cage...which I now know was Purgatory.  Among my talents is the ability to shapeshift, so I changed my outward appearance to look more human.  I knew what they looked like because I had seen a few in the woods around my little meadow.

On my way to confront the leviathans, a very nice man pulled to the side of the road and offered me a ride.  That was Bobby.  From the first moment I met him, I knew that he was special...that he was no ordinary human...he was a hunter.  I knew that, which was why I was careful to never let him know what I was.

He gave me a lift and as it turned out, we were going to the same place.  When we got there, we were attacked by vampires.  Bobby got beat up pretty bad and I saved his life.  From that point on, he treated me like a friend...and later on, as a daughter.
