A/N I've tried to attach a video of Jack Walton (whom I absolutely adore) who I chose as Adam and this is what he'd be singing at the fire. Hope it works.

I'm woken by the light streaming in through my bedroom window. I must have forgotten to close the blinds with Nevaeh wanting to stare at the moon at three in the morning. Just the thought of her name brings me out of my half sleep state. She looks so innocent and untroubled with her head on my chest, arm slung over my waist and leg bent over mine. God this girl is beautiful. This is the very first time I've ever had a girl fall asleep in my arms or actually hung around long enough for her to fall asleep. Checking the time on my phone I'm shocked to see it's ten am. I can only hope Nevaeh won't be getting into any trouble.

Kissing her forehead and stroking her hair I softly say her name. She moans and makes herself even more comfortable in my arms.

"Nevaeh," I insist, "hey babe, cmon, you gotta wake up."

"No. If I wake up this ends," she groans, nuzzling my neck.

I don't want this to end either.

" It's ten am." I mutter.

"WHAT!" she jumps up and starts looking for her clothes.

"Why didn't you wake me earlier. Oh my God. My mom's gonna kill me," she fumes.

Taking hold of her shoulders I make her look at me.

"Calm down okay, I'm going in with you. I'll create a diversion while you get upstairs."

Stealing a quick kiss and getting a slap on the arm for it, we make our way to the house.

"Is this the walk of shame?" we both turn to the refrigerator Micah is leaning against. We didn't see him a second ago when we scoped out the kitchen.

"Or is it the got laid parade," he adds turning to me.

"It's a pride stride asshole, nothing happened and keep your voice down," she says without missing a beat.

"Mom's gone into work, something about an emergency and they needed her. She left as I came in and said you must be tired so she didn't wake you." Micah says.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and Nevaeh does the same.

"I'll cook you breakfast, I owe you for last night."

No way am I refusing food. She moves around the kitchen confidently looking super hot still wearing my clothes. She serves up the bacon, eggs and toast. Digging in we sit in comfortable silence as all Micah does is watch the two of us. I head back to the pool house to grab a shower in preparation for the day.

The rest of the day passes by in a blur of working out, homework and pizza, but no Nevaeh. All too soon it's Monday and back to school.

"Would you mind swopping seats with me please?" I ask the girl who sits behind Nevaeh, using my most charming smile.

"Um... y...yes...sure," she stutters. Giving her another smile I take the seat she's just evacuated and wait.

I had planned on offering Nevaeh a ride to school this morning but she'd already left with Micah. She's clearly avoiding me and I won't let her do it. Not after all the progress we made Saturday night. I won't allow her to put up those walls again. I think I feel her before I see her. Looking up at her while she makes her way over to me, we don't break eye contact. Getting up out of my seat when she reaches her desk, I pull out her chair.

"What are you doing?" she whispers furiously.

"Pulling out your chair." I answer puzzled by her reaction.
