Chparter 9: As its came to

   He stood in the doorway of his apartment, bags under his eyes. Scully walked in behind him. He could tell she was worried. Scully had facial expressions that said a lot.
He threw his coat on the couch and sat down. Sure it had only been a week since she had been gone but he knew something was seriously wrong.
"What if she's dead?" He asked Scully putting his face in his hands.
Scully walk over to him and hugged him saying "She isn't dead."
"But..."
"No buts"
He smiled at his immature thoughts as a envelope slid under his door.
Scully got up and grabbed the envelope weighing it in her hands "It's a tape," she put it in the tv and hit play.
The first thing they saw was Krychek. "Howdy you two! Well don't I have a surprise for you! Here let me show you..." Krychek set up the camera in a corner and showed bleeding Marks hanging on the wall, "She isn't dead. I just wiped her 45 times a day for this week. Here is some footage from that."
The first clip was of them talking, then of her screaming from the pain, and that over and over again for each day.
He cringed every time he cracked the whip. He teared up as he saw Krychek say "She is in a storage warehouse in California, LA to be exact. Meet me in Forest Park and share some information that I need and you will get her back. But for now I will just give her a break and beat her with my hands."
Then the video ended.
"Dang it!" He said falling to his knees. "Do we do what he says?"
"I think we should, for Marks own safety."
Then another tape slid under the door. Scully grabbed it again and put it in the player.
It was a video of Marks bleeding from her nose, mouth, and even eyes. "Don't tell him anything." Marks said barely breathing, "Please. I will be back soon. But what he said about where I am is true." Then she got smacked with a knife slashing her face.
"Don't listen to her," Krychek said Turing off the camera but not before saying, "don't give this to them."
He just stared in shock at the tv. He couldn't believe she was in that much fear, so much pain. "Get tickets to go to California. We will find her."
"But Mulder..."
"No buts"
