Chapter 14: When the going gets tough

  "Mulder we have a new case," Scully said walking into the room confidently.
   "What's it about," Mulder walked up to Scully examining the file in her hands, "Looks a little big don't you think?"
   She walked up to them. She had always love the moments when one file was solved and then another appeared. "Hold on."
   "Here," Scully said handing Mulder the huge file.
   "It's heavy too!" Mulder said looking at Scully as she glared at him. She had always thought that the way they looked at each other was strange. Like they had known each other forever but at the same had just met.
   "Mulder let me see it," she said chasing him to his desk as he held it from her. Just as she did the phone rang and she beat him to answering it.
   "Hello...um ok...send him down I guess.," she looked at Mulder, "What's his name...Camden Parez...oh Perez?...um sure." She handed the phone to Mulder and he smiled.
   "Sounds good," Mulder said grinning like an idiot.
   "Why do you look like that," she said nervously.
   "No reason, just that both me and Scully applied for junior agents and mine is here now."
   She raised her eyebrows, "So what your saying is that there is now going to be four people on the X files?"
   "Correct."
   She stared at him. She was just worried that he would take her place.
   Just as she thought that there was a knock at the door.
   she went to open the door and a boy walked in. He was tall and handsome. His look-in his eyes was all knowing.
  "Hi," he said,"my name is Camden Perez if you didn't know." Perez shook her hand.
   "Im Kala Marks and this is Fox Mulder. Dana Scully is our other partner but she is off somewhere son something only God knows where," she shook his hand and directed him toward Mulder, "I guess he is your superior and Scully is mine," she looked at Mulder,"I'm going to go find Scully."
