Josh was just getting up when he heard knocking at the door. He assumed it was Sam from next door, he came to Josh for everything.
Josh opened the door and started "Sam, I don't...-"
In the doorway stood Kate.
"I don't want to see you," lied Josh.
"Bullshit. We need to talk," countered Kate, narrowing her eyes.
Resigned, Josh stepped back and waved Kate in.
She sat across the room and sighed. "I fucking like you, Josh. Likeyou-likeyou."
Josh stopped, "What?"
"I hate it. It disgusts you that I'm not registered, my job creeps you out. The worst thing is that I can't stay here. Even if we resolved this, you wouldn't come with me when I need to leave..."
She put her head in her hands.
"I don't understand," Josh dragged over a chair.
"Don't understand what?" Kate sits back, rubbing her thighs.
"Why. I've lived here all my life and nothing happened until you come along. I'm intrigued by you. I don't know why I wouldn't come." Josh places a hand on Kate's, soothing her. "I want to know more and experience more."
Kate's eyes widen. "Will you come with me?"
Josh takes her chin in his hand. "How could I not come when I'm falling so hard for you?"
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, Josh's hands roaming to Kate's hips while her hands panned Josh's chest. Kate felt herself be lifted and carried then plopped down on the couch.
Josh began kissing Kate's neck, tasting her cool skin and feeling the goosebumps he left behind.
Josh bit down gently on Kate's collar bone, he heard a soft moan escape her lips. He stroked the little red mark he'd left, their eyes met, then he went back to kissing her.
This was bliss.
