Never were the pretty dresses and high heel sandals Daisy's thing. She quickly outgrew that gender role and instead, found recluse in gaming. Even though her parents disapproved so much as to resell the first few consoles Daisy ever bought, she is set on gaming until her heart is content. Growing up, her parents have always had high expectations and think she should be seen only around people of similar status as she is to be inheriting the family business soon enough - a little difficult for someone choosing to attend a public college. Having been born into a rich family, she has never had money troubles, but when it comes to things such as fancy lunches and parties with business associates, Daisy is at a loss. All she enjoys is hunkering down in her room and playing. She wants her life to change.

Rick is a videogame nerd to the extent of memorising arcade game patterns in his free time, and no matter how much he tries to hide it, it is obvious to everyone. His parents aren't really present in his life so he can game freely to whatever extent he likes on his Xbox. A bit financially challenged, Rick is limited to few games and is only able to buy a maximum of one a month to keep himself busy and fed. Rick is known to be very shy and to have great social ineptitude, often causing him to be subject to bullying and harassment at school. That's the reason why he left to go to college. With nothing riding on him, he is perfectly fine cruising along in the life he has, unaware of his ability to change, unaware of his ability to shine and unaware of all the possibilities his life holds.
