Daisy stepped out of her dads BMW outside the campus in her spectacular cosplay. Not only were eyes on her for coming out of a £70,000 vehicle, but because with her hair, makeup and cosplay on, she shined.
Her boots met the concrete stairs as she approached the main building which housed the endless stalls of merchandise. She had been practising her American accent and was excited to talk to anyone about fallout to show off her character. That's when she bumped into him...
"Whoa, sorry!" said the unnamed man. He looked normal; jeans, hoodie, but something in his hand. No, on his hand?
He looks Daisy up and down, "oh, another fallout cosplay! Nice to meet you, I'm Rick, I like your Vault Suit." He smiles and extends his power fist for a shake. Daisy extends her hand into a strange angle so as to not damage the flimsy looking thing, and grasps his hand firmly.
"I'm Daisy. Nice fist you've got there." She lied, it looked like crap but she admired his enthusiasm. There was a time when Daisy, too, had shite-tier cosplays and had to rush it in the past.
Rick looked her up and down again before standing back and getting a better look. "You look fantastic! Where did you get the suit?"
"I just bought a plain blue yoga suite one online and added everything else at home..." Daisy started, but noticed Rick's face had become blank and his jaw slackened. "...what?" She continued.
"You made that? That's mad," he trailed off, "would you want to get a burger or something with me?" He back-peddled, "I mean to talk more?" Rick shrank a little as he spoke.
"Of course! Probably the only ones here in Fallout gear, you know Bethesda," Daisy chuckled, Rick clearly relaxing a little at her ease.
"Cool." He says, back to his normal size. They begin walking to the van when Rick piques up, "so, the Ripper? Managed to get it in game yet?"
"Oh don't get me started on that story..." Starts Daisy.
