It was now three days later. Draco felt desperate. How was he supposed to arrange a date with Hermione Granger? He was sure she didn't want to talk to him, why else would she have stopped writing him?
Blaise and Pansy had left right after their 'truth or dare' game. From that moment on, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about the dare he'd gotten from Blaise.
"You have to take the girl you hate most, out for dinner."
His friends were probably just trying to annoy him by making him go out with someone they thought he hated but instead of doing that they made him really nervous because he had to go out with someone he liked and that someone most certainly hated him.
He hit the wall out of pure frustration. Why was he so insecure about this. He was Draco Malfoy. He was the one who made girls nervous in his presence, he was the boy who left the girls puzzled when he left. For him getting a girl was a piece of cake.
Then what made Hermione so different from the other girls? Why did only the thought of her make him go crazy?
Draco grabbed a small piece of parchment and dipped his quill in the ink pot.
He stared at the wall in front of him. His mind was completely blank, just like the piece of parchment in front of him.He scribbled something down and reread it three times.
He could not seem vulnerable, not in front of Hermione Granger.
