Dare to Love (a Dramione story)

Draco woke up with the feeling that someone was watching him. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around. His eyes fell on the gorgeous girl that was curled up on the same couch as Draco had slept on. She with a book in her hands with which almost hid her whole face. Draco knew for sure that she was the one that had stared at him just long enough to wake him up since there was no other person in the room.

He sat up which made the girl look at him slightly worried. "Did I wake you up?" Her sweet voice sounded like music to Draco. "No Hermione, you haven't" he answered.
It felt pretty weird talking to each other again, especially because they didn't talk yesterday.
"I'll make some breakfast" Draco walked towards the kitchen. He was happy that Hermione wasn't angry with him for staying in her appartment.

After a view minutes they were enjoying Draco's homemade pancakes. Again in silence. When they were done eating it was Hermione who broke the silence. "Can we go to the park again?" Draco smiled, it was really cute, like she was a small child asking her parents to play with her. "Of course".

And so it became a daily routine. They woke up, Draco made breakfast and they went to the park. Most of the time they were just sitting or walking and sometimes they would tell each other about the plants and the animals. When the night arrived they would just apparate home and eat supper before going to bed, Hermione in her bed, Draco on the couch.
It felt just like when they were at school. As if nothing ever happened.

Draco was happy to see Hermione improve. She was getting enough sleep, eating enough and dressing normal again. She seemed to have fun doing things and enjoyed being active.
But her eyes were still not the same as they used to be. They may seem to care now, but they were still looking really sad.

Draco wished that he knew what happened. What could have possibily had this much impact on Hermione?
And why was she living here all alone? Where were her friends and her parents?

Thoughts kept running through his head until he finally fell asleep.
