Dare to Love (a Dramione story)

Hermione couldn't hande the confersation anymore. She ran away out of the kitchen to the first floor. To the room she had slept in in her fifth year at Hogwards.

Her head was spinning and she relized that hot tears were spilling out of her eyes. How could he. Leave her, make her feel broken, ask her to come back and threaten her. How dare he blame her for something while she never did anything. Especialy when it turns out that he is playing nasty games himself. That loathsome evil cocroatch!

She heard someone enter the room and walk over to her.
It was Ginny.

"Hermione, are you alright?"

What a stupid question, Hermione thought, I am crying, but sure I am OK.
This thought made her smile slighty.

"I must say, my brother is an absolute idiot!" Ginny continued. "I know he is dumb but I didn't know that he could sink this deep. Oh, I am so sorry 'Mione."

Hermione looked at Ginny, "how did you find out?"

"I read it in this morning's paper.." Ginny looked her in the eyes, "don't worry 'Mione. I'll make sure that my brother will feel sorry for what he has done, I promise."

"Thank you Ginny, you truly are my best friend, you know that right?"

Ginny smiled.

After a short moment of silence Hermione saw Ginny looking at her again.

"Sooooooo, ehm.... what is it then with you and Malfoy? He really seems to like you, you know."

Hermione blushed, "I don't know, I guess we're friends. He helped me really well."

"Are you sure that you are just friends? I saw him look at you.... and you look at him." Ginny said, grinning.

"Hey!"

"And I must say" Ginny went on, "Malfoy has some pretty good looks, he's pretty sexy!"

"Ginny!" Hermione couldn't help but laugh. Did she find Draco attractive? She had to admit, he was kinda hot.

She heard laughing noises coming from downstairs.

"I would have never imagined that Harry and Draco could be nice to each other" Ginny said in surprise.

"Me neither!"
Hermione stood up, "lets go downstairs!"

A few moments later Hermione and Draco went home again. They would discuss the details later in the week.

Hermione's head was peacefull again except for one thought.

Whas there more between Draco and her than just friendship?
