Naruto's two day get away...
(Yay! Rhymes!) No no, it's mostly just Kakashi and Naruto talking.

Naruto's POV (The Next Day)

I walked up to the door of Konohagakure's orphanage.

Seems like forever since I've been here.

I knocked on the door and waited a few minutes.

"Hello, how can w-- Naruto!" Iruka hugged me.

"Iruka-Sensei!" I hugged him back.

"What brings you here?" He pulled back.

"I need to talk with Kakashi. Is he here?"

"I think he's coming in a bit, come in."

I followed Iruka into the lounge room where many of the children were.

"Naru!" I tiny toddler ran up to me.

"Kate!" I scooped her up.

"Naruto!?" Sai ran up to me. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit for a couple of days."

We talked for a bit, as if we hadn't seen each other in years... Though I saw him like four days ago.

"Someone wanted to speak to me?" A familiar voice said.

"Sensei!"

I got up and hugged him.

"Long time no see Naruto." He hugged me back.

I pulled away from him and put on a serious face.

"I need to talk to you." I said firmly.

"Er.... Ok."

We walked outside to the small garden and sat on the snow  covered stone bench.

"What's troubling you?"

"Well.... It's about a girl."

"Oh ho ho! You're dating someone?"

"Sai hasn't told you?" I looked shocked.

"The blabber mouth kept a secret? It must be important..." Kakashi himself looked shocked.

"Well it is..." I scratched the back of my head.

"What is it?"

"Well my girl...."

"Yeah.....?"

"It's.... Well she's.... Her name is..."

"Who is it Naruto?"

"Hi.........." I mumbled.

"Hee who?"

"Hina.........." A little louder.

"Not getting any younger Naruto."

"Hinata."

"Eh... Hinata? As in Hinata... Hyuga?!" He raised his voice.

"Shhhh!!!!....... Yes."

"I told you not to try anything!"

"She made the first move!" I snapped.

"What?.... I mean... She was so shy..." Kakashi's eyes widened.

"Yeah......" I turned my voice to a whisper. "Not when we're alone though."

WHACK

"HENTAI!" Kakashi smacked my head.

"Ow!"

"I hear it all Naruto!"

"I'm the pervert?! Says the one who carries Icha Icha Paradise with him all the time!" I rubbed my head.

A breeze blew by and it got silent, snow catching in my hair.

"So what's the even bigger problem?" He looked at me.

"Ha-ha so funny. It wasn't a problem at first... Besides the usual secret and stuff."

"Well if I can help, I will Naruto." He patted my shoulder.

"Arigato sensei.... The thing is... Her friend talked to me a couple of weeks ago." I looked towards the direction of the Hyuga compound.

"What about the friend?"

"How could you be so reckless?!"

"Tenten... Her name is Tenten. And she really talked to me and now I don't know what to do about hime."

"Hime?"

"Oh... Hinata is my hime..." A light blush ran across my face.

"Well if you call her hime... This is serious, isn't it?" His eyes pierced through my body.

"Yeah... I mean... We've been sleeping in the same bed."

"Uzumaki! You've only known the girl for two months and---"

"Sleep sensei! Sleep!"

"You'll ruin her....."

"Oh. Well what did Tenten say?"

"Well...."

"I see. That's all very..."

"Yeah. I don't evenknow anymore." I put my hands through my hair.

"Well if you truly love Hinata the way you say you do... You'll do what's right for Hinata." He looked into my eyes, staring into my soul... Like a father would.

"Do this for her."

"Do what for Hinata? What's right for Hinata? How do I know it's right for Hinata?!" I yelled the last bit and stood up.

"It's all in your heart. No one can help you with this decision. Hell, if I was in this position, I would run. But this girl means a lot to you, so do what's right for her... Not you."

"Kuso!" I slammed my fist against the tree, making my hand bleed. Red pearls of blood formed in the snow

"Don't hurt yourself just to prove a point." Kakashi grabbed my hand and wrapped it in a handkerchief.

"Arigato." I mumbled.

"Now, on a more cheerful note, you have two days to decide and spend with your old friends." He ruffled my hair.

"Yeah." I smiled slightly.

"Let's go eat some lunch, ok Naruto?"

"Ok..."

We walked back inside, my mind filled with furious thoughts.

"If you love her...."

"If you truly love Hinata..."

If I love her? I do... I do love her.

I'll make sure I'll go what's right for you Hinata... I swear.
