After we got the hole in the wall all patched up and Jack's hand was better, Jack dragged me back to our room. Well, not literally. I walked there, but he made me come.

"Someone is threatening you," he said. Wow, way to state the obvious.

"Uh, yeah. I kind of realized that when I read the note." I replied, even though he wasn't listening. He was spacing out. He was talking, but I think he was talking more to himself than he was to me.

"Someone out there has the nerve to threaten my mate." He continued.

"Jack, calm d-" I started. Of course, that was the time he chose to hear me, so he started freaking out.

"Do not tell to calm down! You are in danger, and I wasn't able to stop that sick freak who took those pictures!" I took a small step back, as his wolf was, once again, in control.

"It's not your fault!" I tried to convince him. He was being unreasonable. He couldn't have known someone was there, so obviously he couldn't have done anything to prevent what happened. With his snores, and the storm that happened last night, there was no way he could have heard the window opening or the picture being taken.

He growled, and pulled me into his arms. "Don't you walk away from me." He used his Alpha tone and I immediately scowled. It didn't work, and I knew it was his wolf talking, but I was pissed. How dare he try to boss me around? I wasn't going to submit to him or anything like that, and he should know that, too.

"Don't use that tone with me," I muttered. His eyes went back to normal, and he had an apologetic expression on his face.

"Eva, I am going to do something bad, but I need you to know that this is for your own protection. You are going to have to be locked in the room you are redoing. Someone will bring you meals and guards will be posted at the doors and windows. I am so sorry but you need protection and this is the only way to get it." He looked at me, apology clear in his eyes.

Before I could respond and tell him what a stupid idea this was, he hauled me over his shoulder and crossed the hallway to my new room. He put me in there and slammed the door. I tried opening it but it appears this door locks in the outside. Joy. I looked around the bland room. Guess what? One window, and there were guards under the window. Crap.

"Men, they think they're the ones who need to protect us women. Idiots." I mumbled to myself. He was not helping himself with our relationship. And who the hell has a lock on the outside of the door?

I noticed all the bags from my shopping spree were still in here. I smirked. I bought a phone at the mall, and Madi put her contact in it, and vice versa. I called her.

"Hello?" She asked, sounding a little mad.

"Madi! Your stupid brother locked me in my new room and I need your help! Please let me out!" I begged her.

"Eva honey, I would, honestly. I'm just going to have a hard time doing that locked in my room. Yup, that's right. Daniel thinks that since someone's going after the Luna, someone's going to go after the Beta Female." Her tone sounded disgusted. I didn't blame her. Madi was way worse than me when it came to being bossed around. And the fact that she technically has more power than Daniel (because she's got Alpha blood and he doesn't), it probably made her situation worse. Nobody likes being bossed around, but at least Jack and I had the same power. That wasn't the case for Madi and Daniel.

"Oh, well there goes that plan. At least I can get my new room ready and won't be bored out of my mind."

"Lucky you. I just hope all the books in here will be enough to keep me entertained, because, and I know this for a fact, Jack and Daniel aren't going to be letting us out any time soon."

"Why do they think they need to protect us. I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself." I was mad too. Probably not as mad as Madi, but I was close.

"I don't know. We should be out there, helping them make a plan of attack. We'd think about it logically, all boys think about is kill, kill, kill." She sounded so angry it almost scared me. I felt bad for Daniel because he would have to deal with an extremely rage filled mate when he let her out.

"As long as hey get to punch something, though," I said, trying to make a joke.

"See you in a year, because that's how long they're going to let pass before they let us out."

I just laughed and hung up.

When I get out of here, Jack better run. And fast. His werewolf speed might not even help him when I'm out of here.

I paced the room, thinking of a plan. But I just couldn't manage to find something that would work. Not with all the guards everywhere. I decided the best thing for me would be sleep. At least I could pass the time quicker this way.

I sat down on the bed I got from the mall. Luckily the comforter and pillows were all already set up, because I was just wanting to crawl in the bed.

I pulled the comforter up to my neck and closed my eyes, letting sleep overtake me.

It was light outside. The birds were chirping and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The sun sent warm rays down, and not one soul on the field was cold. Too bad the nature didn't match the people.

Blood. The thick, crimson coloured liquid rained down everywhere. It stained the grass, and was covering almost everybody's body, whether they were dead or alive.

I could see my dad's wolf. The brown coloured beast was a monster in the fight, killing many and sparing none. I knew that when he got like this he was fighting for a purpose. But I didn't know what that purpose was.

It was too late that I saw a large black wolf creep up behind him. When I spotted the wolf, I tried to shout out for my dad to run, but I couldn't make I sound. I tried to run to him, but I couldn't move my feet. I looked down at my body.

I was in a white gown, and it was blowing softly in a wind that wasn't there. I was bare foot, and I was standing on what appeared to be a cloud. I felt others around me. I looked around and saw similarly dressed women around me, but they had wings coming from their backs. They looked at me with pity as I looked at my dad with tears streaming down my face. I had to help him.

But I couldn't.
