Yukine's Otaku (Story Preview!)

(Y/n) is an otaku girl, she loves watching anime, reading manga and wattpad's fanfictions, and lastly fantasizes about being in an actual anime. Her life is nothing like what she reads in mangas... Until one day, all that changed...

It was a regular morning, she was going to school. Walking alone, she crossed the street, little did the (h/c) girl know that making a real nonfictional friend would change everything.

Arriving at her class, she heard rumors of this girl, a grade higher than her, who got hit by a bus. She sighs, that's the only unusual thing so far... Then it's all regular boring school...

Timeskip~ The next day...

School was the same and boring, now she was leaving school, she decided to take a small break before going home, she found a nearby bench at the playground. She sat and took out the easiest homework ;that she knew she could do quickly then leave the rest for later, after that, it was manga reading time! This manga she currently read was a romance... Oh how he wished to find a boy to fall for. Sadly for her, she had no interest in the boys at her school, boys in anime and manga can't be real... "Time to go home..." The girl's (e/c) eyes looked up at the sun setting...

After packing her stuff up, she headed home. 'Don't tell me that now I'm going to get mugged or kidnapped...' She rolled her eyes... Then she thought about the usual things in romance mangas... The girl about to be mugged then that handsome anime boy comes in to the rescue. Thankfully no such thing would happen...

Her footsteps echoed throughout the concrete, her monotone expression stared up ahead. Next thing she knows, she sees someone laying down... ON THE STREET!

"What in the world?" (Y/n) approached the person, she got a clearer view. A brunette girl wearing the similar school uniform as her, she was breathing just fine... As if she has fallen into a deep sleep. (Y/n), being the kind little angel she is, picked up the girl pulling the brunette's arm over her shoulder and holding both of their school bags with her free hand. "I should call someone after bringing her to a safe place other than the middle of the street." She spoke to herself. Once (Y/n) got to the sidewalk, she felt dizzy and...

It all went black.

(Y/n)'s eyes opened half lidded, she got up looking down at the sleeping brunette she had helped. A sigh of relief escaped her lips, "I'm glad she's okay..." (Y/n) muttered. Then, looking to the left a little she saw it, it was herself sleeping similar to the other girl. "WHAT?!" (Y/n) exclaimed stepping back, as she unintentionally move her arm, she felt something hit it. Her head turned to see a (f/c) tail, it straightened into a straight line as soon as (Y/n) felt shock.

"I'm definitely going insane..." (Y/n) spoke out loud holding her head...

"You're not insane..." A kind voice spoke. The (h/c) girl looked up meeting her (e/c) eyes with a pair of pink ones. "Ahhhh! B-but a-aren't you-" (Y/n) jumped up pointing to the sleeping brunette then to the pink eyes brunette. (Y/n) sighed then started to chuckle, "I am going insane... I'm loosing my mind, my sense of common sense... My-"

"No you're not! It's okay, don't worry. As you can see I'm the same..." The girl with pink eyes smiled and pointed at (Y/n)'s tail. "T-then what are you? What am I?!"

"I don't know... But I know someone who can help us... Just let me..." The girl suddenly fainted and faded away into her sleeping body. "Ah... Much better, not you do the same."

"Ah? Oh um... How?" Then (Y/n) felt dizzy again, her body fell. She opened her eyes again, "Okay, so if I'm not crazy... Then tell me where this person who can help us is."

"Yeah, I was just about to catch up to him. My name's Hiyori by the way... Iki Hiyori."

(Y/n) shook her hand, "I'm (Your Full Name)"
