Something To Do

"Ughhh! Nothing to do..." You whine stretching your arms out above your head as you plop down. Your back brushed against the comfortable futon.

Yukine was laying down on his back staring at the ceiling, his eyes half lidded with a bored expression. His arms crossed behind his head in support. His calm voice filled your ears, "I'm so bored..."

You nodded and sat up looking down at him. You crawled over to where now you slouched looking straight down at him upside down. He felt the sudden shade of you block the light from his face and looked up meeting your (e/c) eyes, he started to show a bit of pink on his cheeks as his eyes were no longer half lidded, but widened. "W-what?" He stuttered not moving from his comfortable position. You smiled tilting your head, "Wanna do something? We're both bored..."

He nodded not breaking eye contact. You giggled and leaned back sitting up straight. "So... What do you want to do?" He got up brushing his fingers through his hair. "Hmm... How about... I'm... Not sure..." You held your chin. "We could hang out with Hiyo-" you stopped speaking then facepalmed, "Yato and Hiyori went out together..." Yukine commented.

"Ah... Nevermind. I forgot for a sec."

"How about we hang out with Kofuku? I mean this is her place we're staying in." Yukine asks.

"No, no, no, NO! Have you even seen what she does to me?! I can't take people touching me like that! And she asks me, 'what cup size are you?... 'Well I'm not answering that!" You didn't notice that you instinctively crossed your arms over your chest as you shook your head. Yukine sweatdropped at your outburst, "Eh..."

You looked at him try to speak, "Hee hee, sorry..." You sheepishly rub you arm. His honey orange eyes gaze upon your embarrassed self, "It's okay... So um..." You noticed him looking away from you, "I'm just going to nap I guess..." You exhaled carbon dioxide (science!😝) and crawled over to your futon. "Oh okay... Me too I guess." He started to get up, once he looked at you he noticed you staring at him.

You were blushing with your mouth gaped. "W-what?" He asked blushing as well. You shook your head and smiled, "I was just wondering how your hair always seems to look so soft..." You lie actually wondering, 'How wound it be like if we took a nap together...' You decided not to tell him that since it might be weird, but you were still wondering. You two always seemed to be a little distant. No hugs, pat on the back, anything like that.

You sighed then watched him kick his futon closer to yours. "Huh?" You look up at him, he just smiled at you. "What?" He asks casually, you shake your head, "Nothing..." You decide not to argue since he looked so casual as if it wasn't weird at all. He laid down and looked up, "Weren't you going to nap?"

"H-huh? Oh y-yeah..." You lay down feeling heat rise up on your face. You turn your back to him and hide your face.

After a while... "(Y-y/n)...?" Yukine pokes your back. You flinch widening your eyes with a blush, 'Why am I nervous?!'
That's the first time he's been so close, and the first time he touched you. Butterflies started to flutter in you stomach. "Oh... You're already asleep..." He whispers. You feel the poking stop, 'I can't move... He can't see my face like this...' You pull your hands up to your face slowly.

A warm hand suddenly puts a strand of your (h/c) hair behind your ear. You react by closing your eyes tightly. Then the warm hand goes to caress your cheek. 'Y-Yukine...? Is this him?' You wonder as you try your best to not move.

"I know you're awake..." Yukine's voice spoke, but he sounded different...

You flinched and slowly turned your head sitting up, "H-how..."

He chuckled, "Who holds their breath while sleeping?" You blush from embarrassment and look down at your cross legged position. Then notice that his leg it slightly touching yours as he too is crossing his legs.(crisscross applesauce style!) You face him, "W-what were you doing?"

He smiles, "Your cheek is so soft..." He raised his arm to cup your cheek, his thumb sliding up and down. You blush staring at him dumbfounded.

"W-what did you want to ask earlier?" You blush turning your head slightly as he let go of your cheek. "I was going to ask if you were okay, you seem out of it today..."

"W-what do your mean?" You tilt your head blinking twice.

He smirked and leaned closer, his face a few centimeters from your face. You reacted by pulling back in embarrassment. "It seems like you don't like me..." You heard him say, his sigh seemed sad. You looked at him lay down in his back and stare at the ceiling.

'Whaaat? Since when?! I do like him!!! That's the problem! Whenever he's close to me I feel nervous...' You panic on this inside thinking, 'What should I do? What should I do to show him how I feel?' Then you noticed... You always push him away. You actually paid attention to what he does, but not on how you react.

"U-um... Yukine?" You shyly scoot closer to the futon he was laying on. He hummed in response, his eyes looking up at the ceiling with a bored expression.

You pout slightly as he seems to not even care about what you have to say. You then scoot up to where you can pat his hair.

He blushed looking up at you. You giggled and slid inside his futon beside him, "(Y-y/n)!" His eyes focused on you as he blushed madly. You just smile showing your teeth, "I do like you Yukine..." You then scoot closer leaning your head right beside his, your face neared his cheek. "Don't misunderstand..." You whisper before kissing his cheek. He blushed madly and started shaking. He slowly turned to face you, "(Y/n)... " he smiled, "I like you too..." You watched him get closer until his nose touched yours.

You giggled as he spoke "You're beautiful, cute, maybe a little shy too... But what I love most about you is that you're you. You don't let other's opinions get you down."

You blush at his compliments and knowing how adorable the blonde looks up close, his eyes glimmered. He pulls you close and kisses your cheek. "I'm glad you feel the same way..."

"Are you okay Yato? Did that water help?" Hiyori asked as they walked into Kofuku's place.

"Those regalias are doing something up there..." He growled. Hiyori sighed, "They're kids, leave them alone," Yato crossed his arms and frowned. "You're not the one who's been stung every second!!!" He groans, "I'll check up on them,"

"No, I'll do it," Hiyori started walking up the stairs, Yato sighed about to follow her. Hiyori stopped and faced him, "You need to rest,"

Yato sighed and obeyed, Hiyori smiled and walked up to the room you and Yukine stayed in.

"Hello-" she stopped to see nobody there. "Huh?"

"We should've thought of this ages ago!" You giggle twirling around on the grassy field near a Sakura tree. He smiles stuffing his hands in his pockets.  You turn to him and smile, "Come here!" You wave to him, he nods and walks over.

You were glad that you finally got to get closer to Yukine, you got to finally tell him how you feel. Once he makes his way closer, you childishly go up to him wrapping your arms around him. Your ear leaning against his chest, you could hear his calm heartbeat grow a little faster. He's blushing a little and slowly  wrapping his arms around you. You giggled and leaned back a little, you were now gave to face with him. You're blushing staring into his eyes, he smiles and nuzzles the tip of his nose with yours. You giggled again and wrapped your arms around his neck. "I love you~"

"Love you too~" he whispered tilting your chin up and leaning in making his lips touch yours. You both blushed after a bit and parted apart.

You sat down on the grass beside him and leaned your head on his shoulder.
