Accidental Kisses

"Bleh! Gahhh!" You and Yukine both gagged hunching over spitting down to the concrete.

"Hahaha! Y-you should've seen your faces! You're both blushing!" Yato snorted clutching his stomach while laughing.

"Another accident..." Hiyori shakes her head crossing her arms, she felt sympathy for you.

"It's not my fault this jerk doesn't know where he's going!" You point an accusing finger at the blonde who glared at you in return.

"You're the one who's always being clumsy tripping over your own feet!" Yukine points at you back. A blush is still on both of your faces. You continue to glare as you wipe the edge of your lips with your wrist. "How come it's always with you?! Why can't these things happen with a cute boy!"

Yukine turned red and clenched his fists, "What's that supposed to mean?!"

You smirked, "Aww, is little Yuki mad because I said he isn't cute~?" You teased. He huffed crossing his arms, "I don't know what you're talking about! I'd prefer a pretty girl unlike you to accidentally kiss..."

"What did you say?!" You went up to punch him but that's when you got interrupted.

You were pinned down onto the concrete floor, you struggled with your cheek pressed into the hard concrete. You glance up seeing Yato pin down Yukine.

"You two have to get along!" You heard Hiyori's voice from above you. You sigh giving up knowing that Hiyori is into martial arts...

"How are we supposed to be a team if this is all we do?!" Yato commented.

"Look who's talking! You Yato are usually the one causing trouble!" You yell. "Tracksuit! Get off me! Your sweat is toxic!" Yukine growls.

"Not until you apologize to (Y/n)..." Yato sat on him feeling a vein about to pop at his comment.

"Dude! Really! I might die of this stench!" Yukine struggled. You couldn't help but laugh, "We're already dead you idiot! And that's no way of treating your master..." You smirk. "I apologize fellow regalia for calling you 'not cute'"

Hiyori got up letting you stand, "Whaat!? You let her stand up?! A-and I don't care what you think of me!" Yukine gritted his teeth while blushing slightly. "All you have to do is apologize..." Hiyori kindly smiled at him.

Yukine cursed under his breath, "Fine... Sorry (Y/n)..."

"For what?" You smirked putting your hands on your hips. "F-for saying that you aren't p-pretty..." He muttered.

"Eh? I didn't hear... Could you repeat that?" You kneel down closer smiling innocently. "I'm sorry for insulting you! There happy? Not get off of me!" Yukine struggled. Yato jumped off chuckling.

"Hiyori?" Yato walks to her, she nods smiling holding a notepad. "Apparently, this is their 55th accident since the time (Y/n) became a regalia..."

"You kept track of all that?!" Your mouth drops as you stand.

Yukine sighs gettin to his feet, "What did I do to deserve this?"

"Hey! I'm suffering too! It's like bad luck or something!" You exclaim walking over to him.

Suddenly, you step on a crack on the sidewalk making your trip. 'Uh oh...' You think as you now fall I top of Yukine you looked at you wide eyed. You both stare into each other's eyes as your lips connect for the 56th time. Cue both of you looking like strawberries. You break away the kiss pushing yourself up, "Why!? Why is this always happening!" You feel tears streaming down your face as you run off.

"(Y/n)!" You hear Yato and Hiyori, but you ignore and keep running.

'It's always like this, due to Hiyori we've kissed 55 times! And now 56! And yet, I know he'll never like me. I deny it because I know he'll never see me as a pretty girl! And these accidental kisses... They're all messing with my feelings!' You keep running wiping your tears, you don't even glance back to see Yukine's expression on the kiss.

Near a park, you find a bench to sit on. Being tired of running, you sit curling up high in your knees. 'Y-Yukine...' You hide your face thinking back to all those accidents. When you first met, you were Yato's new regalia, and your first impression of Yukine was how good his lips for with yours... You slap yourself thinking about him, but your mind still wonders off to those accidents... Falling down the stairs, tripping over Yato was asleep, Yukine getting pushed by Kofuku, stumbling down the grassy hill, Yato's teleporting to jobs and more... And what do these accidents all have in common? They all end up making both of you kiss.

"(Y/n)?" You see Yato standing stand in in front of you gripping onto Yukine's collar. Yukine looks troubled. "H-huh?!" You gasp wiping your tears.

Next thing you know, Yato shoves Yukine onto the empty space beside you on the bench and teleports away.

Yukine blushes turning to you putting a hand on your shoulder. "(Y-y/n)... I'm sorry... I really am. Yato told me wha-" you cut him of looking into his orange eyes, yours with tears. "Yukine. I can't take this anymore! I-I k-kinda like you... And all these times we've kissed... It seems like a joke now doesn't it? You probably never liked me, I'm just the girl taking away your first kiss and all those other times... I'm the one who should be apologizing." You try to smile.

Yukine shakes his head and holds your hand, you gasp shifting your legs down so now you aren't hugging them. "I-I like you too! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to insult you all those times, you're beautiful! And those things I said about hating you, those were lies. I'm sorry!" He tears up. You sniffle bringing him into a warm hug. "I forgive you..." You whisper petting his blonde locks of hairs. He hugs you tighter, "I forgive you too! Yato told me everything. If I had just known that you had the tiniest interest in someone like me... Things would've been different." You giggle, "so all I had to do... Was confess..."

He giggled facing you leaning closer, "Now, what do you say we stop having accidental kisses and start having real ones?" You blush biting your lip, "W-will it really be any different? I-I mean a kiss is a kiss..." He shook his head, "Wanna find out the difference?" He leaned closer making your noses touch. You nervously tilted your head wrapping your arms around his neck, "O-okay..." You whisper before actually making your lips connect.

Meanwhile~

"57th time... They've kissed, and 1st time actually being intentional." Hiyori whispers next to Yato. Both of them hid behind some bushes at the park. Hiyroi scribbled into the tiny notebook then showing it to Yato. Yato nods, " They grow up so fast..." He dramatically cries, Hiyori cups his mouth shushing him.
