Chapter Nine: I'll Admit, I'm Impressed

Friday Morning/ 1st Day of Warped Tour

Cody POV

We arrived in California and we were instantly hit with a schedule. Kevin, who is the man behind Warped Tour, gave us all a Warped pass and wristbands. 

"Oh, before you guys do anything, be sure to head to the Vans tent to pick out shoes for the tour, alright?" He gave a smile and walked out of the bus. We decided to check out the tent. I grabbed Eisley's hand and we walked separately from the guys who were on the other side of the tent while we were in the front. Looking through the limitless amount of shoe and different styles, Eisley picked out a pair of classic vans and so did I. After we all picked out shoes, we headed to the bus to get ready for our first show on the Hurley Stage, which by the way, was a big deal. It was all a rush. One second we're on the bus, and the next we're headed to the stage. Nerves began to settle in. 

"Okay! Everyone get set up! Gates are about to open!" Kevin yelled. I turn my attention to Eisley.

"Cody? You okay?" She repeated. I began to blank out and next thing I know, I pass out. 

//10 minutes later

"Cody? God, Cody please wake up". I slowly open my eyes, seeing Eisley hovered over me. 

"What? Oh god. What happened?"

"You passed out... Are you okay?" Her fingers sneakily intertwined with mine. I smile softly and kiss her hand. 

"I'm just fine. Help me up? Please?" She chuckles quietly and pulls me up. I dust myself off and kiss her. 

"Good luck, babe. You're gonna kill it." She whispered in my ear. I nodded and we all went up on stage, receiving screams and chants and cheers. It was very emotional and overwhelming. It made all of us feel good. 

"Well hello! How are you guys? Good? Good! Okay, this first song is dedicated to my lover. This is Swan Song." 

Eisley POV

A smile instantly grew on my face. It was my absolute favorite song. I began to sing along as loud as I could. Cody looks back at me, smiling like a huge dork, winking at me. I blow him a kiss and he continues back to the set.

//1 hour later

The guys finished their set and were finally done for the day. The guys decided to go explore while Cody and I headed back to the bus. I was going to give him something he would never forget.
