Chapter Two: Are You Sick Of Feeling Sorry?

(3 days later)
I was sitting in the living room, flipping through the channels trying to find something decent. All of a sudden, the doorbell rang.
I got up and opened it.
"Good morning, ma'am. These flowers are for a... Eisley West?"
"Yep, that's me! do you know who it's from?" I asked.
"Uh no. Wait, there's a card for you!" He said pointing to the card. I grabbed the flowers and set them on the counter. I thanked the man and closed the door.
I walked over the the flowers and pulled out the card. It read:
"Let me prove to you that I've changed. I want to show you how much I still love you. "
I blushed slightly and grabbed my phone, calling Cody.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hello. I just got your flowers. That was really sweet." I chuckled.
"Well I'm glad you liked them dear. So, what's up?" He said.
"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come over and hangout."
"I'll be there in 10 minutes." He said quickly.

(20 minutes later)
I finished getting ready and threw on a hoodie and straightened my hair and put on eyeliner. I walked downstairs and seen that Cody already came in. I forgot I left it unlocked.
"Well hello, stranger." I say walking over to him.
"Hello, beautiful." He says smiling. We stared at each other for about two minutes then broke silence.
"So, what do you want to do?" I asked him.
"I don't know, I was thinking we could watch movies and cuddle. I kind of miss it." He says.
"That sounds perfect, actually. Let me grab a few movies and you could start on the popcorn if you'd like." I said as I ran into my room.
I looked in my DVD stand and grabbed a couple movies he liked then walked back out into the living room. Cody grabbed a few blankets and put the popcorn on the table. He knew the drill.

[ Cody's POV ]
Eisley was grabbing a couple movies for us to watch. I went into the closet and grabbed a few blankets for us then set the popcorn on the table. I then laid down on the couch and waited for her to come back.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and seen Eisley walk around the couch and stand in front of me.
"Come here." I gently grabbed her hips and sat her down. She adjusted and laid beside me. I slung the blanket over her body and wrapped my arm around her.

(1 hour later)
Eisley adjusted her body so that she was laying in front of me. I kissed her forehead and rubbed her back as she tightened her grip on me, intertwining our legs together.

She's what I'm missing.

[ Eisley's POV ]
I woke realizing I fell asleep during the movie. I smiled at the feeling of being in his arms again. I didn't want to move but I had to get a shower. I slowly wriggled out of his grip and went upstairs to the bathroom, locking the door and turning on the water.

I stepped out and grabbed my towel then dried off. I unlocked the door, walking into my bedroom, changing into shorts and an old Panic! At The Disco tour shirt. I then threw on my hoodie and walked out into the living room, seeing Cody was still asleep.
I gently shook his shoulder, trying to wake him up.
"Cody? Wake up.. It's 8 am." I whispered. He fluttered his eyes open, smiling slightly.
"Morning, beautiful." He said groggily. "Good morning, sunshine." I chuckled. I sat beside him and turned on the TV.
"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked.
"Nah, I'm good, sweetie. Thank you though. I might have to get going though. I have some catching up to do at band practice. " My smile faded.

"Oh that's right. I wish you didn't have to go. I really don't want you to. Please stay? Just one more day?" I grabbed his hand as he stood up. I stood up also.
"Of course." He whispered. I intertwined our fingers, looking him in the eyes.
"You're beautiful." He said.
All I could do was smile like an idiot. I bit my lip and stood on my tippy toes, and kissed him softly.
"I miss you" I whispered.
"I miss you too." He put his hand to the side of my face and kissed me once more. He then wrapped his right arm around me, pulling me close and kissing me deeply. All of a sudden, his phone rang. We released and he answered it.
"Hello? I know I'm supposed to be at practice but I'm with Eisley right now.. C'mon man." I assumed he was talking to Maxx. He stepped outside.

A little over 5 minutes, he came inside.
"Well, I'm supposed to go in but I'm going to go tomorrow but right now, it's all about you." He kicked off his shoes and walked over to me, picking me up and carrying me upstairs to the bedroom.

He laid me down on the bed and he pulled me to his chest, holding me tightly.
