Chapter Fifteen: You don't know what you've got till it's gone, my dear.

Eisley POV

"You're definitely pregnant." The doctor said. I blanked out, cancelling all voices and just listening to my heart race faster and faster. I looked over at Cody who looked terrified. I reached up to him, putting my hand on the side of his face, gently caressing it.

"So... when do I need to come back?" I asked.

"Next couple months. I'll set up an appointment. Congrats, you guys." The doctor walked out the room and I instantly started crying.

"Hey, no... it'll be alright." Cody kneeled down in front of me, holding my hands.

"I saw your face. You looked absolutely afraid of the idea."

"I just... I don't know. We'll figure it out, okay?" He stood up and grabbed my hoodie, taking the gown off and putting the hoodie back on me. We walked out and headed home.

Once we got home, I crawled back into bed, grabbing the pillow and crying. This isn't what I wanted yet. Suddenly I felt Cody lay behind me and pull me into his chest, wrapping himself around me.

"We'll figure this out I promise. You're not doing this alone." He whispered.

"I know."
