Things were getting better. A lot better.

Cody and I could finally focus on the wedding and plan more of what is left. We came to the agreement that the wedding would be in my hometown. Cody has already set up a venue and everything as a surprise. We even set a date, October 23rd. It'll be so perfect.
Or so I thought...

"Are you serious? Tour. During the month of our wedding. Why?" I yelled angrily.

"I can't help that those dates got chosen! I didn't set it up!"

"Whatever, Cody. Your band, your dream, right?"

"What the fuck does that mean?"

"It's what you told me when you first started the band. All I fucking wanted was to just spend a night with you since I haven't seen you in months, but what did you do?! Tell me. You know exactly what you did!"

"I left."

"And what did you leave to do?"

"I don't want to talk about it..."

"YOU don't want to talk about? But back then you came home raging about how awesome of a night it was, right?" He balled his fists. My anger switched to panic. I didn't want a repeat. It's my fault. I did what I should have years ago.

"Stop." I mumble.

"Stop what?" He said bitterly. I teared up and slowly walked towards him, grabbing his fists and prying them open. He finally relaxed his hands and let mine intertwine. I looked up at him and kissed his sweetly.

"I love you. I'm sorry I got upset. You're right. It isn't something you control. And what happened back then is in the past. Years ago. This is now. We're getting married to each other for a reason, right?" He nodded and kissed me.

"We'll figure it out. I promise." He said.

"All that matters is that we're together and we can finally say 'I do', right?".

"Yes." He smiled and kissed me. "I love you so much." He whispered into my ear.

This wasn't going to be easy on both of us.
