Chapter 6 Guard Tower

Carls pov

I let Bella inside the guard tower first. I'm in love with her and I don't think she feels the same way for me. She sat down and I sat down next to her, our feet were dangling from the edge of the guard tower.

When this all started it was me, my mom, and Shane he took us to a camp that we called home for the time then one day some of our people went on a run and came back with my dad. I was so happy that he was alive because Shane told us that he died.

Then one night we got over run at the camp so we left for the cdc but the guy there he tried to kill us by trapping us inside because it was gonna blow up but we begged him to let us go and he gave in so we left but one of our group she stayed behind.

We got to a highway and we were looking through cars when a herd of walkers came through so we had to hide underneath the cars when a girl my age Sofia thought it was clear she got out but a few walkers chased her into the woods, my dad went to look for her and found her.

He told her to stay in this cave type of thing but she must've ran away so then everyone except two of our people went to look for her. I was with my dad and Shane when I saw a deer so I walked towards it and got shot by man named Otis he killed the deer but didn't see me then he showed us to a farm and Hershel fixed me up.

One day I saw a walker in the woods and started throwing rocks at it then it grabbed me by my foot but I kicked it and ran away. And that same night that walker attacked one of our group it tore his stomach open. I couldn't forgive myself after that but my dad told me that he was gonna die, my mom and just gave me the talk.

Later Shane and my dad had this one guy Randall held captive and one day a guy named T-dog went to let him out but Randall wasn't there then Shane came out of the woods blood all over his nose and mouth saying that Randall clocked him in the face with a rock and took his gun so there was a search Glenn and Daryl found him but he was a walker and his neck was broke.

Daryl said that Shane followed him into the woods and killed him. Then later that night I heard arguing and I saw my dad and Shane fighting then my dad stabbed him and Shane fell to the ground my dad turned around and I held my gun up because Shane turned really quick so I shot him then we were over run with about 200 walkers that same night so we bailed and we were on the road again.

My moms pregnancy increased until we found this prison so we cleared out the courtyard then we went inside and cleared this cell block my dad, Glenn, Daryl, Maggie, and Hershel went inside to go clear it out then Hershel's leg got bit so they brought him back and we fixed him after a few days we got over run and Maggie my mom and I went into a boiler room she said that the baby was coming and I didn't know what to do then she told me how much she loved me and that I will find you then we had to cut her open to get the baby out.

Then the governor came and tried attacking us so my dad told me to stay inside so I did then Patrick told me it was story time and Carol teaches the kids how to use knifes I said then I looked over at Bella she was staring into my eyes.

"Damn Carl that's one hell of a story ye got there" she said I saw a few tears in her eyes and I know that I had some in mine to.

"Did you ever find that little girl Sophia?" Bella asked scrunching her eyebrows together.

Yes we did but she was a walker and she was inside of Hershel's barn along with a ton of other walkers I said then she gave me a tight hug.

"You are so strong Carl" Bella said as she hugged me then she looked out towards the woods then she started to look serious. She grabbed her crossbow and stood up from where she was sitting on the ground.
