Bella's pov

"Bella are ye ok? Why are ye out 'ere all by yourself?" Daryl askedin a soft but still demanding tone. Max then appeared by my side. I tensed, I'm not comfortable being anywhere near him.

I don't know how to get back. I came out here to think then it got dark really quick. I'm all mixed up here I said looking around.

"We'll find our way back. And this is Noah he was with Beth at Grady memorial hospital. Carol was also hit with the same car that took Beth" Daryl said. Oh my god Beth's alive.

So what about Carol is she alive? I asked in a rush.

"Yes. She'll be fine we have a very good medical doctor there, he'll help her" Noah said. I gave Noah a hug.

Thank you I said with a smile. He returned the smile.

"Alright let's go this way" Daryl said. We all followed Daryl through the woods and pretty soon a small light was visible. Daryl told us to stay put. I heard him talk. I turned to Max and snatched my crossbow out of his hands. He rolled his eyes but I didn't care.

"Come on out" Daryl called to us. I walked out first and saw Michonne. I smiled and ran to her giving her a hug. We walked inside the church and everyone asked us if we were ok. I stayed quiet and walked over to my corner and sat down.

Rick and Carl both walked my way. Carl sat down next to me and Rick stayed standing up.

"You ok?" Rick asked. I looked down and shrugged my shoulders.

Yea I'm just a little tired that's all I replied. He nodded his head then turned around and walked back to the others.

"Daryl, my dad and a lot of the group are going out to look for the rest of Garth's group" Carl said.

Now? I asked.

"Yea but you me Judith, Eugene, Rosita, Max, and Bob are staying here. And also you weren't here for this but Bob was bit, it happened when he went on the run, and Gareth took off his leg" Carl said sadly.

Oh, ok I replied. I never really knew Bob but it's still sad to see one of your group members go. I stood up picking up my crossbow as well and stayed in a shadow. My machete was hanging from my pants belt loop so if Garth's group member takes my crossbow they're gonna meet my machete.

Carl, Judith, Bob, Eugene, and Max were all in the back. Rosita was in the other corner of the church. A few minutes later we heard talking from outside of the church, then the doors opened.

I ducked down but one of Gareths group member saw me and grabbed me before I could shoot an arrow at them. Gareth walked in slowly with a stupid smirk on his face.

"Alright it's not much of a surprise, because you know we're here, and we know you're here. You should just come out now so we don't have to kill the girl" Gareth said. Right after he finished his sentence he fell to the ground holding his hand.

Everyone else went down except for the guy holding me. Daryl looked in my direction but I shook my head no. I'm perry sure this guy was distracted so I brought my leg up and kicked it back right into his knee as hard as I could. He fell to the ground in pain then I got my crossbow from the ground and shot him in the head.

I walked angrily over to Gareth with my machete in hand.

"We never wanted to hurt you, we weren't like this before" he said the ought deep breaths. I shook my head no not believing him.

Remember when I told you I was gonna kill you with my machete? I asked twirling it around. His expression changed to a scared one.

"No please I-

Goodnight you sorry ass prick I said with venom lacing my voice. I brought the machete down into his skull. I placed my hand on his head and yanked the machete out. I looked up to everyone. They killed the rest of his group and were starting to drag the bodies out.

I sighed and walked over to my corner and sat down. I had my knees brought up to my chest and my elbows were placed on both of them. Everyone was quiet now and I hated it. Carl walked over to me and sat down.

"Thank you" he said. I looked at him in confusion.

"You basically protected Judith from him so thank you" he said. I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

I love you Carl I said.

"I love you too Bella but more than you can imagine" he said.
