"Ready to see the brand new bionic academy?" Davenport asked. I was with Adam, Bree, and him and was blindfolded.
"Are you sure that this is the hydro-loop?" I asked, "Because last I checked, the hydro-loop was the opposite way!"
"Fine," Bree said, taking the blindfold off, "It's a training course to see which level you will be for your bionic training."
"That sounds really formal," I replied, "Adam?"
"It's a giant jungle gym." Adam explained.
"Got it," I said. I was so excited! I'd only seen the academy once (and we all know how that ended), and I was so pumped to actually be a student there.
"Okay, right this way," Davenport said, leading me to what looked like a giant obstacle course.
"What is this, Wipeout?" I asked.
"No," Mr. Davenport said, as he left me at the beginning, "It's worse."
With that, the fun began. A huge, holographic GO materialized in front of me. Thinking that I had no time, I activated my super speed. Bad call. I rammed into a bar. I groaned, ducking under it, and settled on just good old fashioned jogging. Then, a pole came up from out of the floor. I panicked and glitched. Back to that bar. I ran back to the pole and activated my intangibility while holding the pole. It came right out of the floor. Tangible again, I ran on, and the floor beyond became too high to jump to and still was rising. I ran a bit back, and combined my speed and agility to vault to the top, thanks to that pole. Once the floor stopped rising, I saw a holographic target. Laser sphere time! I pretended to throw a ball, and hoped for the best. And nothing happened.
"What the heck?" I muttered. I shook my right hand for five minutes straight until finally, finally, a sad ball of red energy formed in it. I threw it at the target, and it landed far away from the bullseye. Way to suck Garrett.
The last challenge was to run past a speedometer with my super speed. Backing up to the laser sphere range, I sped as fast as I could past it. I didn't catch the speed, though.Afterwards, I caught up with Adam and Bree, and they tossed me a mostly black sleeveless shirt. But the solder area was a yellowey-orangish color.
"What color is this supposed to be?" I asked, "Peach? Ochre?" Davenport then came over.
"Garrett," he said, "Welcome to Buttercup!"

So, this is the first chapter of HLRF Part Two! I'm so excited to keep developing the plot, and Garrett is bionic! Next chapter, I'm gonna reveal the new and improved bionic academy, so see you half way across the world!
Finally, I have made an executive decision. On The Edge and The Vanishing never happened. Giselle and Marcus are still out there... Leo's still a mentor, though, but Taylor isn't blind and the whole upgrade crap never happened. Enjoy understanding my logic.
