"Adam, what are you eating?" Bree asked, running across the cafeteria to him, "You're supposed to set an example for these students!"
"Yeah," Adam replied, "I'm showing them how to be adventurous eaters!"
"And how is eating a hubcap demonstrating this?" Bree asked, "Where did you get that, anyway?"
"Mr. Davenport's junk pile," Adam replied, "It tastes like chicken!"
"Of course it does," Bree deadpanned. Travis, Taylor, and I just kept laughing at our table. Other students were starting to catch on to the events, and were laughing too. Adam kept eating his hubcap.
"What's so funny?" Bree asked.
"It's funny because it's actually chicken," Travis called out, "Davenport genetically modified it to make it look like a hubcap."
"Seriously?" Bree asked, and we all nodded, "Let me see that."
Bree grabbed the hubcap and tried to take a bite out of it. It wasn't working, and we laughed harder.
"This is a hubcap!" Bree exclaimed, and we all fell out of our chairs in hysteria. She threw down the hubcap and stormed off.
"That couldn't have gone better!" Adam declared, "Totally worth eating half a hubcap for!"
"Wait," Travis said, "Does it actually taste like chicken?"
"I don't know, why don't you try," I suggested.
"Okay," Travis said, shrugging his shoulders and picking up the hubcap.
"He's actually doing it," Taylor whispered. Then, Travis took a bite out of the hubcap. He immediately gagged, and spit out the hubcap.
"Okay," Travis declared, "That does not taste like chicken!"
"Really?" Adam asked, grabbing the hubcap back and taking another bite out of it, "Hmm. You're right. It had more of a break flavor to it."
As Adam finished the hubcap, Davenport walked in with a worried expression on his face.
"Hey, has anyone seen a hubcap lying around recently?" he asked.
"Oh, we've seen it," Adam said, "But if you want it, I'm gonna have to throw it up for you."
"I'll pass," Davenport said quickly, then quieter, "I told Douglas that we should've stuck with androids but no, he didn't listen!"

Okay, maybe this will be a once a month thing.
Anyway, sorry for being really bad at updating, and I know that this is just a filler, but school is a butt and my water polo coach decided to sign us up for every game and tournament he possibly could. So, free time is limited. Anyway, hopefully I'll get to the good part soon, but until then,
AJ
