Chapter fifteen

"Anything?" Angela asked me. In my hands was a pretty masquerade mask. Something I apparently wore only a few weeks ago. As I am concerned I was in Florida a few weeks ago with Jake. The dress I wore too is hanging up on the closet door.

"It's very pretty?" I tried to smile but couldn't. I don't think I ever disappointed Angela so much before in my life.

"Seriously?" She groaned and fell on the bed.

"I'm sorry but we have been doing this for three days! I can't remember anything. I believe you that time has passed, I can see that time has passed but I just can't remember it, we have tired everything. I don't understand why we are trying to get me to remember it with memories of me and Klaus. At the minute as far I am concerned, he is a guy I shouldn't know! Let alone date! He seems like such a jerk. He hasn't spoke to me once, he doesn't even look at me. Klaus is supposedly in love with me yet he doesn't seem to trying to help me too now is he?" I fell on the bed too.

"I know, I know. He is being the biggest jerk, but remember you did break his neck the day this whole thing happened..."

"Yeah good point."

"Have you got use to the fact you're a vampire by the way?"

"Yes I have. I have gotten use to blood bags." I sat up as Klaus came and stood in the doorway.

"The night you wore that dress, you kissed Stefan on the balcony. Do you remember that?" He said as he pointed over to towards the dress.

"Did I? Who is Stefan?" I asked but Klaus just rolled his eyes.

"We will discuss him later." Angela said to me leaning in.

"Oh yes and if you want we could go to Mystic Falls, to my house and go to your old bedroom where you told me that wanted me to leave and told you would break the spell along with the help of Angela. Funny how things turned out..." He rubbed his chin as he spoke. Do I really find him attractive?

"Stop guilt tripping? That's not going to work Klaus so quit it." Angela stood up.

"Oh have you told her yet that you and Joey are dating or were should I say?" He smirked and then walked away.

"You and Joey! Oh my god I can't believe this! Wait what does he mean were?"

"I know it's a shock but I still sometimes can't get over it too and I have no idea either. We agreed to keep it quiet whilst you re-adjusted. He clearly thought we broke up." She rolled her eyes.

"Break up.... Maybe I should go see Jake. The last thing I remember was me and him basically."

"That's actually a good idea. I have told him too what has happened so he won't look at you like you are crazy."

"You are not going to see Jake!" Klaus was at the door again.

"I will do whatever I want. You afraid I will kiss him or something?" I snapped.

"Leave her alone Klaus, go back to drinking some girls neck or something. I'm saying this now! Whilst Jane doesn't remember you two are not together because she doesn't know you who the hell you are! So stop acting like you like can boss her around. She can kiss Jake if she wants to, who knows it might get her memories back? So quit it Klaus." Angela shouted at him.
