|~Chapter Twenty Seven~|"Why have you waited till now to tell me?" Klaus's voice had turned as if a wall had been put between us.
"There hasn't really been a time to do so."
"What about what when you can back alive? Or when we driving back? Or when I tried to offer you blood?"
"I know, all of those times would have been prefect!" I felt flustered. I was trying my best to stop this from being an argument. "I just couldn't okay? I couldn't bring myself to it."
"And why is that? You thought you just pretend to be a vampire forever love?" Klaus walked over to the table by the fire and began to pour himself a glass of whiskey. "Because it didn't take long for me to realise that something had changed. How on earth did this happen?"
"When I died, I stepped over the town line. My vampirism was reversed, I died with my heart being liquidated and rendering me a witch who suffered an awful death." I explained as he downed his drink. "It meant that Veronica and the rest would die but not of all them would go through to the other side and overwhelm Bonnie before the spell."
"So planned to do it that way?"
"Yes, but I didn't know if it would leave as a dead vampire or a dead witch."
"Well, sweetheart, isn't that nice? At least you haven't lied to me even before you died, there's something." Klaus sneered at me before pouring himself another drink.
"Everything has changed now though." I said.
"Not really." Klaus bit his wrist, letting some blood drip out. "It depends on whether you want to be a vampire again or not. It's quite simple, drink some blood and we will be right as rain."
I stared at his wrist. The temptation was there, I slowly step over and then held his wrist. The wound was slowly healing itself, and I wanted to drink it but something was telling me not to. If I just became a vampire again, everything could go back to the way it is. There would be no issues.
"You can't can you?" klaus commented whilst his wound fully healed up. I shook my head and began to cry, letting go of his wrist. He took ahold of me and pulled into his chest. "It's okay, sweetheart, it's okay."
------------
The night hung over me as I stood at Angela's doorstep. I knocked on the door for third time and stood back to wait. Her mother should be home from work so it confused as to why no was answering. Since the conversation with Klaus this morning I have avoided any serious conversations till now. I knew it was a bad idea to wait until now to speak her but it's a bit work hard out what you say to the girl who cheats on your brother.
A car pulled up behind which made me turn. Angela, her little sister and her mother all got out of the car. Rosie came running towards me and ran into me to give me a hug. She made fall backwards form her wieght. I wasn't use to new found weakness clearly.
"Go careful Rosie, Jane isn't as strong as she was a few weeks ago." Angela tried her best to be serious but ending laughing by the end of the sentence.
"Sorry Jane." Rosie said as we both got up and gave her a proper hug. "I missed you."
"And I missed you." I smiled flicking her nose making her laugh. "Angela can we talk?"
"Of coruse." She smiled as her and her mum met us by her door.
"I brought the peace offering of ice-cream." I shook the bag in my hand and smiled. "I have missed mint choc chip so much. It's not the same when you are craving something other than food."
