Chapter twenty-six

|~Chapter Twenty Six~|

We all stood around Bonnie as nightfall sank in. The spell had begun and we were all getting ready to pass through. We were waiting for Damon and Elena who killed themselves to be able to kill all the travellers and let them overwhelm Bonnie. Caroline and Klaus stood to the side waiting for us all to come back through.

The next few minutes were a blur, people passing through but still no sign of Damon or Elena. Bonnie growing more weak to the point where Stefan accidentally went through when he caught Bonnie when she feel. The only left to go through was me and Angela.

"Come on!" She shouted at us.

"What about Damon and Elena?" I shouted back.

"I will find them don't worry, come on. You not coming through won't make me stronger." She held out a hand to us. Angela grabbed it and turned back to realise she could no longer see me.

"Angela is she coming back through?" Klaus asked her.

"She should be." She tried to remember where I was stood.

"Come on Jane." Bonnie held out her hand to me.

"I am so sorry, I don't want to hurt you." I said as I took it.

Bonnie winced at the pain as I held her hand. My body began to feel heavier and the colours around became alive again, less muted than before. The feeling of being alive cam rushing back it almost knocked me off my feet. I exhaled as if I had just been holding my breath under water. I let go of her hand and turned to Klaus.

"Jane." He smiled.

"Klaus!" I jumped at him as he held me in his arms.

"Don't you dare do something like that again." He whispered into my ear.

"I promise." I pulled away from him and took his hand as we friend to see Bonnie has disappeared.

Elena came out of the trees. Caroline ran over to her but Elena was too busy looking around.

"Where is Damon?" She cried.

The witch who must have been Liv and a blonde haired guy who had come back from the other side came out.

"What are you doing?" Caroline shouted at them. "We need more time!"

"And my sister needs her life." The guy snapped.

"Damon!" Elena started to panic.

Bonnie and a random guy came out from behind the trees. The next few minutes became a blur, Elena screaming and dropping to the ground in tears. Bonnie disappearing as the other side came crashing down around us. Bonnie and Damon were gone.

Me, Angela, and Klaus were all driving back to New Olreans. Klaus decided to drive as he decided since he wasn't the one who came back to life. Angela had fallen asleep in the back whilst me and Klaus listened to some quiet music. The sunrise was beginning to rise as more cars began to join us on the highway.

"We should have used the night as a chance to feed. I can imagine you must be hungry." Klaus mentioned. "I could happily have a bite myself."

"No, I am not hungry really." I had to lie, I couldn't admit to him that was I hungry but rather for a pile of fires and a burger than blood. I just don't think when Klaus has the control of a car would be a good time to mention I am a witch again. After all the events that happens last night, there was no time then either.
