Chapter nineteen

|~Chapter Nineteen~|

"Where is he?" I almost screamed.

Angela just sat barely saying anything so I walked off and searched the bar for him. I looked through the entire crowd, looked around to see if he was getting a drink, outside, the toilets, everywhere he could possibly be. I began to panic. If it wasn't anywhere to be found then Klaus may be getting some revenge. Frustrated and angry, I headed over to Elijah.

He was still sat the booth with the girls that Klaus clearly compelled to sit there. They all sat dazed, staring into the distance. A few had healing bites on their necks. Elijah meanwhile seemed distracted by something or someone. His eyes seemed to be quickly darting around the room looking out for someone.

"Where is Jake? Where did Klaus take him?" I slammed my hands down on the table making Elijah jumped.

"What do you mean? I have no idea what you are talking about." He looked genuine.

"Where is Klaus then?"

"He said he has something to deal with and then left." Elijah got up. "I will go look for him, tell me if you find him or Jake." He disappeared into the crowd with a look of anger on his face.

I headed back over towards over Angela, Joey and Andrew. As soon as I got the table they all sat upright as if they were waiting for their orders.

"One of you needs to do a location spell now on either Jake or Klaus, I don't care which one as long you get a location on one of them. Whilst you guys do that, I will try to ring Klaus and reason with him."

"How are you so sure it is Klaus?" Joey asked. We all stared at him. "stupid question." We all nodded.

At that moment my phone buzzed, it was from Klaus.

I don't like lairs, Jane. I thought we were on the same side love.

"Shit. I am definitely sure it was Klaus." I put my phone on the table.

"What does he mean I though we were on the same side Jane?" Angela took ahold of the phone as she read the text.

"Now is not the best time to explain. Go do the spell, I am calling Klaus."

We found a back room and Angela begun the spell. I had tried to call Klaus about ten times but so far no answer. Joey stared at me with concern, he knew I had messed up but he wasn't disapproving me... I don't think so anyway. All of a sudden my phone started ringing.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hello darling." Klaus spoke.

"Where is he?"

"Oh do you think really think I would just tell you, where is the fun in that? I must pre-warn I am holding in a lot of anger in from the matters of Hope and you breaking my trust, if you find him quickly you might have nothing to left apart from pieces of his body thrown across the high street." With that he put down the phone.

I screamed making Andrew jump. "You okay?"

"How is that spell coming along?"

"He is by the docks. We need to go now." Angela stood up and grabbed her coat.
