|~Chapter seventeen~|
I feel like ice slowly melting into water. Muffled noises of people speaking ran in my ears as blood slowly tripped down my throat. Someone had come to save me. Who though? The noises soon became sharper and it was Angela talking to Stefan. Whilst I was desiccated, I had begun to hallucinate and soon those hallucinations began my memories I had lost. I had got that deep within my mind I managed to retrieve them myself. I felt my emotions come flooding back and soon enough I felt the happiness for feeling like myself again, not a lost girl. Soon my body felt as human it could do and I could just about take a normal breath. I pryed my eyes open and shot up in the coffin.
Daylight. It hurt my eyes. I hid away from it turning my head. Then I realised it wasn't sunlight, it was snow. What the hell is going on? How long have I been under? I turned to the two and gave a faint confused smile.
"Let me help you there." Stefan help out of the coffin and instantly went into his arms. I could feel he was confused at first but he just hug me back. He didn't realise I am back. Metaphorically.
"I remember you." I said smiling, not letting go. "I remember everything. And all the reasons why Klaus had me in that box over there."
"That's great! Very happy to hear that but listen we have to go because Klaus is probably going to find us any minute and we really don't want that." Angela beamed.
"Why?"
"He is pissed to the point where he will happily turn me into a vampire to pour vervain down my throat so I slowly die."
I looked around the room. I had absolutely no idea where we were. This is definitely not a room I recognise at all. Then again why Klaus show me the room where he keeps people in coffins?
"How do we get of here?" I asked.
"Oh right, the door." Stefan said pointing to it. I went over and open it. The other side stood Joey, out of breath.
"Right we have the total of two minutes to get out of here!" He said panting.
"I am so confused!" I shouted. I saw the stairs which lead to the main floor and and the gates. One problem, Klaus's room was pretty close to those stairs. "Stefan take Angela. I'll take Joey, we can only vampire speed out of here without getting caught by Klaus."
We both picked them up and we ran out of their at Lightning speed. We got to the corner and stopped, putting them down. Snow touched my toes in my sandals. I was not seasonly dressed.
"Right what the hell is going on?" I snapped.
"You have been desiccated for a month and a half. Today's date is the 16th December. Don't get angry at us for not getting you out sooner but Klaus has not made it easy. He made it into a game. Sidenote, Hayley gave a birth and they now have a baby girl named Hope. Hayley too is now a hybrid." Angela started.
"We spent days looking for you but every time we seemed to wake up with out memories wiped of what we had tracked the previous day. He seriously wanted no one to find you. Somehow though we managed to remember and found where you were. Then we saw the coffin was sealed with magic, some it took a while to break that." Joey continued.
"We have a feeling that he was trying to find a way to put the spell back on you or a spell close to it. All his intentions are on that as the baby had to be taken away to be kept safe. The gates are usually close to shown mourning to make it seem the baby is dead but one quick call from Rebekah made sure the story was real. Hope is alive and well. In this period of mourning, Klaus has been collecting spell books and witches. He is planning something but I don't know what it is really. All we know is that Klaus was locking you away for some reason. It is as if he trying to fix you or something." Stefan finished off.
