Couple Months Later
We were all gathered in the courtroom, we were extremely nervous especially me, all the evidence we carried were seemingly pushed aside or turned against us, Mr. Buntly's team was vicious. I even tried to get the other girls who he had prostituted to testify, all was petrified of who Mr. Buntly was and didn't want to endure the wrath of standing against him, I completely understood though, it wasn't a walk in the park for us once we did. We became public enemy no. 1, I was dub bitch and a whore on the streets and every day we had to clean up the front yard because persons would drive by and dump their trash all over it.
I am now six months pregnant, my birthday went by without a celebration, why would there be one when Kyle was stuck in prison? He was sweet though... from prison he had arrange a bouquet of white roses my faves to be delivered to the house and it was sweet as I previously said, but it made me feel worst.
Mom was now in the hospital, we all knew her time was now near. She had lost a lot of weight and her beautiful hair was gone. I visited her every day but it was getting hard to go and see her in that State..... soon she will be gone and it will be just me and the boys plus the baby, I definitely need Kyle out of prison and with us, I missed him so much and I definitely can't endure it all without him.
I was filthy rich but I couldn't touch a dime until the court business was solved and if Kyle is convicted, I never will, which is what Mr. Buntly's team is hoping for, It was Kyle run away savings we've been surviving on.
Even Ken, Dr. Coleman was being affected by this, he lost a lot of his clients due to his alliance with us, he has remain strong and optimistic but I knew deep down it was getting to him. I was grateful for them all though, I needed their constant love and inspiration on a daily basis especially with the case being so publicized, it was like everyone was watching! Which is why there were cameras all over the courtroom today, today was the day of the verdict.
The jury was deliberating, Clarissa and I testified, Ken presented my medical records and the tape was shown but Mr. Bluntly team had all made them seem like a bunch of lies, fabrication.... sigh.... at this point we were at the mercy of God.
I sat behind Kyle who would occasionally look back and flash me a smile but it never reached his eyes, his eyes were weak and sad and that ripped my heart because I knew he was hurting.
The door open and the jury filed in, my body started vibrating so much that Ken, who sat next to me had to pulled me in his arms and Clarissa held my hand. I barely could breathe, I suddenly met eyes with Mr. Buntly's lawyer who gave me a cold smile of satisfaction before I heard the judge speak.
Judge Harrington: have you reached a verdict?.... he asked.
Juror 1: yes sir!.... a man seemingly in his late 30's said confidently as he stood.
And he handed judge Harrington a note who read it and nod his head in agreement.
Judge Harrington: Mr. Benson please rise... he spoke.
Kyle stood with his lawyers , he turned to me and smiled, then he whispered: I love you
Juror 1: Mr. Benson we've sat and listen to your case......reviewing your testimonies and evidence...... and we have reached a conclusion:
We the jury
Find you Mr. Kyle O'Brien Benson

Suddenly the door flew open interrupting him and a officer with a brown package in hand ran up to judge Harrington.
Judge Harrington: what is the meaning of this!?..... he shouted angrily, the entire room was stunned but we could not hear what the officer was whispering to him. ....what!?..... judge Harrington shouted.... this better be good.... he warned.
There Will be a temporary break!.... he shouted and the whole courtroom had gone in a uproar.... lawyers.... join me in my study.... Judge Harrington concluded and they all gathered and left.
