Tucker's POV

I run through the streets, carrying Petra bridal style as I try to find my way to the hospital.

Mig stayed in the mansion, not wanting to be shown to the world.

As I run, Petra's head rolls limply against my chest, making my heart stop.

She seems so light, like all life is gone, yet she breathes.

Once the hospital is in sight in the dead of night, I find myself not caring if anyone wakes up.

"Help! Somebody! We need help!" I shout as I climb up the steps.

Only now do I feel the cut I got while exploring that place, but I ignore it.

Some doctors rush out of the doors, looking concerned.

"Tucker? What's happened?" They ask, making me hold my tounge.

What do I say?

I can't think of anything, but then a voice pipes in at the back of my mind.

What would Petra do?

She wouldn't tell them.

"We were swimming out in the park lake at night and she started to drown." I cover, making them look specticle.

"Why are you so dry then?" The ask as they lead me inside.

Damn it.

"Does it matter! She's unconscious! Help her!" I shout, making them jump.

I'm not exactly sure why I did that, but how limp she is bothers me, and I need her to be okay.

If she isn't.....

I don't think I could ever forgive myself.

They lead me to a room past some towns people I know, making them stand in worry.

"Tucker, bring her in here." The doctor says.

I don't take the time to read his name tag and run into the room, placing her onto the bed.

Oddly enough, she looks peaceful, like she hasn't had a good nights rest in a long time.

The doctors swarm inside, pushing me out the door.

"Please, wait our here." The doctor from before says before closing the door.

I feel weird not being with her when she's like that.

In fact, I feel like she would appreciate me being there when she has no clue who the rest of them are.

My feet make me pace back and forth as no noise comes from the room but the sound of doctors and beeps.

That's when my father rushes in, looking worried.

He runs up, checking over me.

"What happened? Are you okay? Why are you here?" He asks, making my head spin.

"Dad, I'm fine." I state, comforting the tiered town leader.

He shakes his head, his nose ruffling.

"What the heck is that smell?" He asks, making me rub the back of my neck.

"Not sure what you mean." I say smoothly.

My father rolls his eyes which are identicle to my own.

Though my hair is a raven color, like my mother's, unlike his.

"I'm just glad your okay." He says, hugging me.

I hug him back, knowing that he couldn't bear to loose me.

When my mother passed away, he had become very protective of me, but sometimes it was a lot to bear.

"Why are you here?" He asks again.

"Petra passed out, literally, and I couldn't wale her up. She looked in bad shape so I got her here." I explain, making him frown.

I knew for a fact that my dad didn't like Petra, but that was too bad.

"How did that happen?" He asks, looking as if he wants to know, but in a way that isn't in the same way as he wanted to know about me.

I cross my arms, staring angrily at him.

"Dad, I know you don't like her, but I'm not telling you anything." I say, making him stare at me in shock.

We have a slight stare down before the doctor steps out from the door.

"Sir, we can't figure out exactly what's wrong. She seems perfectly fine." The doctor says, making something inside me boil.

She isn't fine.

She's friken unconscious!

We walk in and see the test they did still sitting on the table.

I ignore them and sit down in the chair beside the bed, staring at her.

She doesn't move, and the only way I really tell that she is even alive is that her chest moves slowly up and down.

Thank the lord.

As the doctor and my father talk quietly I take this time to actually look at her.

Her sacr on her cheek cuts through her freckles, which look cute on her.

They took off her green jacket, showing her arms.

On her shoulder it looks as if talons have clawed at it, leaving three large gashes.

How many fights has she gotten into?

Her eyes are closed, but normally they are a green blue color that is odd, yet beautiful.

I sigh, hoping that she wakes up.

"That's impossible!" My dad shouts, making me turn my head to them.

The doctor pulls him out of the room, making me curious.

I take the remote that Petra made for Mig, and I talk into it.

"Mig, did you take that blood sample I asked you to take?" I whisper into the mic.

For a second its silent.

"Yes Tucker. I took the sample." He responds.

I take one look at her slightly pale face, knowing I have to do this.

"I need you to find out exactly what's wrong with Petra. As soon as you do talk to me first." I order.

I hear what sounds like an okay, and the sound turns off.

My hand rests on the bed, not entirely sure what to do.

Slowly, as the silence gets boring, and my eyes start to close, I drift off, falling asleep.
