My eyes open, and immediately I close them, the light bothering me.

Ugh. How long have my eyes been closed.

Finally I open my eyes and let them adjust.

Everything hurts as I go to sit up, but something gripping my hand makes me turn.

There asleep in a chair with his head rested on the bed is Tucker.

Holding my hand.

I quietly pull it away, not knowing where I am, or why I'm here.

My instinkt tells me to get up and run, but my body doesn't seem to want to wake up, making me lay back in frustration.

The room is filled with quiet beeps from machines.

I can't take this much longer, the beeps are driving me insane.

Finally feeling returns to my legs and I get out of the bed, my socks landing on the ground.

I see my boots in the corner and take them, zipping them up on the sides.

My green jacket sits on a hook, and I'm about to take it when the door opens and Frederick stands there, looking shocked.

"You're alive." He says breathlessly.

I roll my eyes.

"Obviously." I state, backing into the room.

Tucker wakes up at the sound of the door closing.

"But how?" He asks, look me over like I'm a mericle.

Wow, this is very odd.

"Dad, what are you talking about?" Tucker asks, now standing.

He stops walking around me and strieghtens.

"Nothing of your concern son. Now, please, I'm sure Petra doesn't want to be here, the doctor just told me that when she wales up she can go home." Frederick says before leaving.

I stand there stunned, not really understanding what just happened.

"Are you okay?" He asks for what seems like the hundredth time.

"Yeah. But, I don't want to be here. Its weird." I confess, walking towards the door.

The satchel with all the stuff I found is hanging off the edge of the bed and I take it, slinging it across my shoulder before leaving with Tucker on my heels.

"So what happened down there?" He asks quietly as we walk out the front doors.

As soon as I'm out of there I realized I was in a hospital.

"I saw a lot of things Tucker, but I don't really feel like discussing it." I say, finding a question come into my mind.

"Just wondering, why were you holding my hand?" I ask, making him look kawkward.

He avoids my eyes.

"Well, I uh...." He trails, making me smile and roll my eyes.

"Anointed One." A voice whispers, making me turn in circles.

"Did you hear that?" I ask him, making him shake his head.

I sigh, continuing to walk through the darkened streets of Multoru.

His stare burns into me as if he had lazers for eyes, making me uncomfortable in many ways.

I've never liked being stared at, it always bugged me.
