I look in the mirror, staring into my own turquoise eyes.

My hair is in my face, my eyes are hardened, and my right hand is slowly getting paler than the rest if my body.

The green bandana that is wrapped around my sword handle catches my eyes, making me unravel it.

It doesn't seem like it belongs on a sword, it belongs on me.

I wrap it around my left wrist, tieing it so it won't fall off.

For one last second I look in the mirror, seeing a complete stranger staring back at me.

I've lost everything because of one stupid prophecy.

My family.

Any chance at a home.

My best friend.

But now I'm not going to take the world's shit anymore.

While everyone else runs, I'll be standing my ground fighting that thing.

"Petra! We have a problem!" Melanie calls, "Look out the window!"

I walk over, looking out the window, my eyes widening.

Not only is there a giant cyborg dragon circling above the town, now the streets are filled with all the monsters.

Mutants.

Zombies.

Flesh eating bats.

Skeleton warriors.

There are even a couple vampires.

The weapons I gave them aren't going to cut it.

My feet carry me to the computer, my hands typing away.

The creator beside me creates the things I type.

The first is a giant double sided Axe for Tucker.

The second is a short bladed sword for Melanie.

The final one is a long sword for Lindee.

Each looks as if its made of really good materials, good for fighting.

I take them all, walking down the stairs.

They all look like they've seen a gohst.

Which is funny considering they might actually be able to see some tonight.

"Take these. You'll need them if we are going out there." I state, handing each of them their weapon.

Tucker's Axe has a red ribbon tied near the top, and wraps a green cloth around the handle.

Linde takes out a cloth and polishes her sword, smiling at it.

Melanie just stares blankly out the window, face white.

"You okay?" I ask, making her turn around.

She shakes her head.

"Honestly, I don't know. I've never fought a monster Petra, how am I going to do this? How are we supposed to win?" She asks, making the other two look over.

All four of us are standing together, not knowing what we are getting ourselves into.

"You know what I see when I look at all of you?" I ask, making them all look up at me.

I take this silence to actually look at them all.

They look like they are ready to fight, but their spirits aren't.
