Third Person

The streets of Multoru are filled with people setting up banners and stands for the upcoming celebration.

For three years since the battle the town has had a festival, celebrating the way Petra saved them, and the entire world.

Though not a single festival was given the joy of having the Anointed one wake up in time.

She had been asleep for three years, this day marking the fourth.

Some people wondered if she would ever wake up, others told themselves over and over that she would.

But every year their flame of hope was stamped out time and time again.

Multoru, though still having walls surrounding it like always, had changed.

Anyone from around the world was welcomed gladly into the town, and the dome above was destroyed, letting the fresh air and all the amazing weather the citizens had never experienced.

As the town busstles about Tucker pushes past all of them, smiling back at all the hello's and nods he gets from the passing people.

He tightens his grip on the flowers he holds as the mansion comes into sight, hoping that today would finally be the day.

"Tucker! Wait uo!" Lindee shouts, catching up to him.

The blonde haired girl was now seventeen, turning eighteen soon.

She might as well be all grown up.

Tucker smiles at the container of cookies.

"Come on Lindee. She could be waking up right now. And last time that happened she took out all he needles and tried to leave the hospital by herself." He jokes, recalling the day that was so long ago.

Lindee rolls he eyes at the man, catching up and walking with him.

The mansion is the one place that the townspeople were forbidden to go until Petra woke up.

They had no clue how she would take to the idea of all this, but Tucker knew she would like it.

Or he hoped.

Every year they did this, but Tucker had been checking every day, to make sure she was always okay.

"I doubt she will do that again." Lindee ensures, scoffing again at the twenty eight year old.

He catches sight of Melanie who puts on her annual baseball cap for the ocassion.

"You guys heading over?" She asks, smiling brightly at the two.

They give her a small nod, as if to invite her along.

The three of them move through the thickening crowd as Mig stares blankly at the lifeless girl.

He never had the heart to tell them that there was almost no hope for her, so he kept quiet.

The room she's in was Jen's, making it the perfect place for her to 'sleep' as the others always called it.

The robot walks to its creator, looking down at her closed eyes.

"You better wake up today or at least wake up and go for good. They need to either have you back or let you go. You know that don't you?" The robot asks, wanting almost as much as the others that she would at least look at him.

Not a single movement.

He slams his metal fists against the bed, staring angrily at the girl.

His AI gave him the feelings that normally he wouldn't have, but this felt like something from deep within him.
