When I woke up, I found myself lying on a sweater, with a cushion supporting my head. We are in Dr. Gottachalk's place again. Percy slept beside me, his peaceful eyes swollen, red and puffy from crying. He held my hand, our fingers interwined together. I rubbed my thumb on his smooth hand. He opened his eyes, and I smiled at him. His eyes widened and leaned in to kiss me passionately. I rung my arms around his neck, bringing him closer. His arms circled my waist, and his kisses went down to my neck. His hands went under my shirt, and placed his hands on my waist. I wish this doesn't end, but it did. After several minutes, we pulled away, and Percy stared at me with his handsome sea blue eyes, with so much love in them.
"I thought that...." he trailed off, and I put a finger on his pink soft lips.
"Shh....now that I'm here, you don't have to worry about anything. I'm reborn now." I said, and explained about my dream with Sabrina. He listened intently, and nodded. He took my hand, and warmth spread throughout my body. I looked up and looked at his eyes. My heart fluttered. He cupped my cheek, and whispered, "I will keep you safe, and promise me that you will not risk yourself protecting me, okay?" I nodded. He embraced me in a hug, and I whispered into his ear, "Promise,"
Just then, Jason and Leo cane in and stood there, shocked. Their mouths hung open wide.
"Guys, if you keep your mouths open like that, I think the flies will make themselves comfortable in your mouths." I teased. They ran towards me and tackled me in a hug, almost squeezing the air out of me.
"Oof! You can let go now," I choked. They pulled away, grinning like crazy.
"Good to have you back!" They exclaimed. I nodded. Percy then told them about my dream. Their expressions changed.
"Okay.....we'll try to keep you safe. Like keeping a dozen of gold bars safe in a box." Jason teased.
"So have you guys found the cure?" Percy asked.
"Well.....no but I think I know where." Leo said.
"Come on," he gestured, and we followed him to a place where I've seen it before.
"This is where I've seen Thalia and Dr. Gottschalk. And I saw him taking out the potion from there." He pointed to a metal cupboard, heavily secured.
"The machine recognise only
Dr. Gottschalk thumbprint. So.....not matter how we try to hit or wreck the metal cupboard, it s no use." He reasoned. I thought of an idea, but it will be disgusting.
"I know! Why don't we just kill him and amputate his hand then we can retrieve the cure!" I said. Everyone gave me a look like I have grown horns on my head.
"What? Is there anything I said wrongly?" I asked. Everyone shook their heads. Jason jumped and swung me around, and exclaimed, "You are an genius!" I giggled. When he put me down, I saw Percy staring at Jason a little jealously. I gave him a hey- don't-get-so-jealous, I-still-love-you look.
"One problem guys, Dr. Gottschalk inflicts. So....I think it would be a little dangerous." Jason said.
"And he is absolutely right." A voice said behind us. When we turned around.......
It is Dr. Gottschalk.
