Friday Night Bites

I decided I would dress up this morning, it was really warm out so I wore my white jeans, an army green crop top and my favourite pair of heeled boots.

We went to pick Bonnie up and then made our way to the school.

"So where were you last night?" I asked Elena even though I knew exactly where she was. I could see a smile forming on her face and her attempt to hide it which she failed at miserably.

"I just- went to talk with Stefan." She mumbled as if it was nothing. I could see the blush rise to her cheeks which rarely ever happens with Elena.

"Are you blushing!" I asked laughing.
I really do hope I'm wrong about Stefan, it looks like she really does like him.

"No!" She said quickly. ".....Maybe." She trailed off smiling.

"Please tell me it finally happened." I spoke up trying to sound excited for my sister.

"It happened." She beamed. Bonnie stayed quiet the whole time which is unlike her, especially talking about Stefan. It probably has to do with what happened last night.

"Congrats sis." I smiled at her trying to act happy which I genuinely was.

We parked up at the school and got out when Bonnie spoke up about what happened last night. I have to admit it was a bit weird, it was like she just fazed out.

I quickly retreated from the two not prepared to have to deal with this conversation and made my way to my locker. I threw in my books and took out the ones I needed which was Science, History and German.

I made my way to science class walking as slow as possible dragging my feet along the ground. You either hate science or love it and I absolutely hated it. For some reason I just couldn't function it in my brain. When I finally reached the class I walked in already counting down the minutes until it was over.

I was sitting at the back of history trying to avoid Mr.Tanner. I was next to Bonnie who was behind Matt who was behind Elena and Stefan. I looked to my left to find Bonnie doodling in her textbook as usual. I looked down to see what she was drawing to find the page covered in numbers. That's weird, who draws numbers repeatedly? Apparently Bonnie does.

"World War Two ended in?" I heard Mr. Tanner speak up which earned him no response. I noticed Elena and Stefan giggling whispering together and Matt trying to lean in and listen on the conversation. Poor Matt, will he ever learn?

"Anyone got anything?" Mr. Tanner sighed. "Miss Juan? 1945." He continued. "Pearl harbour?" He asked no one in particular. Once he noticed Elena and Stefan he turned to them.
"Miss Gilbert?" He asked raising he eyebrows knowing her response.
"Mmh?" She hummed.
"Pearl harbour ?" Asshole repeated.
"Umm." She hesitated due to history dates not being her strong suit.
"December 7, 1941." Stefan spoke up.
"Thank you, miss Gilbert." Mr. Tanner smiled sarcastically rising a laugh out of the class.
"Anytime." Stefan nodded.
"Very well, The fall of the Berlin Wall." He Challenged. Ooh, this is going to get good.
"1989." Stefan answered quickly. "I'm good with dates sir." He smirked. Everyone looked towards Mr.Tanner waiting for a response.

"How good?" He retorted. "Keep it to the year." I smell a challenge, or Maybe that's the guy next to me but I prefer my first conclusion.

"Civil rights act."
"1964."
"John F. Kennedy assassination."
"1963."
"Martin Luther King."
"68." Stefan kept on coming. I could literally feel the tension in the room.
"Lincoln."
"1865."
"Roe vs. Wade."
"1973."
"Brown vs. Board."
"1954." Mr. Tanner had started to walk towards Stefan hoping to catch him out.
"The battle of Gettysburg."
"1863."
"Korean war."
"1950 to 1953."
"Ha! It ended in 52!" Asshole beamed about to walk away.
"Uh, actually sir. It was 53." Stefan corrected him. Maybe he wasn't so bad. If he could keep shaming Mr. Tanner I'd actually want to come to history.
Mr. Tanner turned around shocked while Stefan just nodded.
"Look it up, somebody." He spoke sternly to the whole class. I quickly took out my phone searching for the answer.
"19-53." I read out before I burst out laughing, an applause erupting in the room. This was too good.
