History Repeating
It was just Elena and I going to school together this morning; Bonnie text us saying she would be late. I was wearing a yellow jumper with black shorts and my Adidas sliders; something casual for a change.
We met Caroline in the parking lot so we all walked into school together chatting casually."Have you even talked to Bonnie?" Elena asked Caroline as we passed the huge yellow buses that students were getting out of.
"No, I'm mad at her. She needs to make the first move." Caroline replied. I wasn't even sure what was going on between Caroline and Bonnie, Elena tried to tell me but I zoned out halfway through.
"Be the bigger person." Elena urged.
"Impossible in her presence." Caroline stated.
"Why are you so pissed at her anyway?" I asked, joining the conversation.
"She's a thief that's why. I gave her my necklace and she refuses to give it back, it's a matter of principle." Car replied frustrated.
"Well, I tried." Elena sighed "I'm officially over it."
"Good, your turn. Where's Stefan?" Caroline questioned. "Did you talk to him?"
"He's avoiding me." Elena responded. "It's complicated." She said just as the bell rang and she was right; it was definitely complicated.
We hadn't seen Stefan or Damon since last night so either of them could be dead for all we know.
"See you later." Elena waved to Caroline as we left for our separate classes. Elena and I had history which meant we would have a new teacher; seen as the last one was eaten by a vampire.
I let out a groan at the thought of sitting through a whole day of school, it was the last thing I wanted to do today.
"So do you really have no idea where Stefan is?" I asked curiously once Caroline was out of ear shot.
"Not a clue. I rang him at least ten times, no answer." She sighed, anxiously running a hand through her hair.
"Stefan's smart, I'm sure he wouldn't do anything stupid." I reassured her, although, I wasn't too sure myself.
We got our books and went to sit down in our history class. I noticed Elena glancing at Stefan's seat which was empty and I knew she was worrying.
Bonnie rushed into the class once everyone was seated, followed by what looked like our new history teacher. I quietly prayed to myself that he wasn't going to be a complete asshole like Mr. Tanner."Good morning everyone." He smiled, seeming overly happy. He began writing his name on the board to spell out 'Alaric Saltzman' which I quietly laughed at.
"Alaric Saltzman." Said the teacher bringing my attention back to him. "It's a mouthful... I know." He smiled. "doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, so you can call me Rick. I'm your new history teacher."

It was lunch and Bonnie was telling us about a dream she had last night.
"And then I ended up at the remains of the old fell church before I woke up back in the woods." She carried on. Even I would be creeped out if I woke up in the middle of the woods after having a dream about my great great great great great grandmother 'Emily'.
"And you always dream about Emily?" I asked curiously only getting a nod in response. "Huh." I replied simply, unsure of what to say.
"Do you believe in ghosts?" Bonnie asked looking between Elena and I.
