"What do you mean Elena knows?" I asked although I knew exactly what he meant.

"She knows about me, Damon and ....everything!" Stefan exclaimed. You could hear the panic in his voice.

"Let me guess, she freaked out?" I stated knowing my sister all too well.

"She took off, she'll probably go home you need to talk to her." He pleaded. I don't know what he expected me to do, I'm hardly someone people listen to.

"Fine." I sighed giving in. "How did she find out anyway?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know, she just.....figured it out." He muttered as I heard the front door open.

"She's home, ill let you know what happens." I whispered quickly hanging up the phone. I could hear her footsteps coming up the stairs so I retreated under my covers pretending to watch the movie. She pushed open the door and walked in breathing heavily as if she had been running. I watched her cautiously as she went and sat on her bed. She pulled off her jacket and laid back, it sounded like she was struggling to breathe.

"Elena, you okay?" I asked worriedly, as she got up from her bed and started pacing the room. I didn't want to bring up the conversation that her boyfriend was a vampire because I knew she'd hate me for keeping it from her. I was partly relieved Elena had found out, it meant I wouldn't have to lie to her anymore about what's been going on.

"Ari, I need to tell you something. You're probably going to think I'm crazy and won't believe me but you have to listen." She explained as she sat on my bed. I nodded slowly not sure what to say. "I found out something about Stefan tonight, it's going to be hard to believe but I swear I'm not lying." She continued.

"Elena just tell me, I'll believe you no matter what." I reassured her taking her hand.

"Stefan's a vampire." She blurted out quickly, getting it out of the way.

My face fell in shock as I pretended to be surprised about what she had said.

"Vampire?" I asked confused.

"You know .... blood sucking demons. Aaaargh!" She growled using her hands as fangs.

"Um, yeah I know what they are, Elena. Why would you think Stefan's a vampire?" I questioned dumbfounded laughing slightly.

"He admitted it, its Damon who's been killing all those people! I should have noticed something weird was happening sooner." She sighed placing her head in her hands. I sat up and attempted to comfort her rubbing her back.

"Even if vampires were real, that doesn't mean they have to be killers exactly." I shrugged. She took her face out of her hands to look at me.

"What? They kill people Ari? That makes them killers. How are you so calm about this?" She asked suspiciously.

"I've learned not to be surprised anymore." I sighed. "Maybe you should hear Stefan out, he seems like a good guy." I admitted trying to ease her to Stefan's side.

"Seriously? Your acting like this isn't a big deal." She croaked confused.

"Of course it's a big deal but that doesn't mean Stefan isn't the same person." I stated attempting to reason with her. She stared at me for a few seconds before getting up.

"I'm going to bed, I need some sleep after tonight." She muttered getting into bed without even bothering to change.

"Night." I mumbled turning off the Tv and getting under the covers.
